Course Curriculum Overview

3

This course is hectic, will definitely be satisfying in the future. To save someone's life is probably the best thing man can do . The curriculum in our college is pretty well structured with normal syllabus classes and other classes like Attitude and professionalism sessions which are highly emphasised on. I wish the college could give us study holidays for our internals as well as we don't get it . Even for our finals there should be longer holidays between exams. As we would be saving people in the future, it is expected that our course will be hard and it is reflected on our exams

Internships Opportunities

2.5

We will be working for the hospital itself when we become interns and will receive a monthly stipend of about 12000 rupees, however some of this goes for donations. Many research projects like ICMR are encouraged

Fees and Financial Aid

A private seat student under the gender category and pays 1800000 per year. Students who joined under the government quota are paying a fee of 150000 per year Students who come under a reservation category need lesser marks in the NEET exam to be eligible to join MBBS in any college Management seat students pay based on an agreement with the administration and the fees for them can go upwards of 25 lakhs per year. I would say it is an expensive course but it could be worth it if one has interest in bringing joy in other people's lives

Campus Life

3

The campus life is ok as we are isolated and in a small village, that being said we have pretty good fests. The best ones being THE GANESH CHATURTHI FESTIVAL, FAREWELL FESTIVAL( for graduating interns), SYNERGY ( a sports fest), APL ( a cricket tournament ) and many more

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Accommodation is decent with 3 sharing rooms. Fee structure is economical as mentioned earlier. However our hostel doesn't have a gym which is very troubling. The nearest gym is about 4 km away and transport is a problem. Food is also ok

Admission

This college is close to home and I chose this college because it is a well established university that has been running for a very long time. It has built a good reputation among the elderly population of my state

Faculty

4

The faculty is pretty good at what they do and majority of them are willing to go the extra mile and help out students by providing extra classes, however like every college a few are a little tough to handle. The exam system is well organised and a little bit more strict with 3 unit tests and 3 internals before the finals

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much
