About SSIMS
SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre was established in the year 1958 and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. It is a premiere institute that aims to offer top quality education to the students in the field of medicine and research. SSIMSRC is devoted in developing a critical, self-reliant and inquiring approach to medicine, flexible enough to prepare the student for the evolving future, without forgetting the value of traditional means and practices. I applied to shri devi college of tumkur , i was assigned there in mock allotment but after looking at the fee structure and hostel environment and expenses, i decided to relocate SSIMS&RC to 1st preference since it was cost friendly with great infrastructure and opportunities and was near to my home place Admission process was the same as i got a seat through kea

- commuting is hard as there is no airport

we have to give neet to take admission into this mbbs course and nta conducts this process we have to select our college according to cut off and then we have allotment i got this college because my marks were 511 and this was the best option according to the cut off

- My college got very peace and large campus, well maintained with heritage look. Girls ans boys arqr in same campus, even college and hospital are in same campus too. Everything thing is alright qiwth big playing ground and gym in campus
- All our professors are good at their expertise.they actually care about our studies and even sometimes personal life too. All clinical sise professors are very good and talented.
Dislikes
- Hostel food on Sunday evening, it's very disgusting.
- Some friends behaviour which they act all of it.
Admission:
I actually got admitted to Dayanand sagar engineering college Bengaluru. But later i got seat allotted in medical college so i have to leave previous college and got admitted to ssims and rc. Seat allotment process goes by merit list so whichever college u get allotted to according to your marks in NEET and category ,u have to accept it, if not u should wait for next counseling or take gap to score good for best college.

- And toilet of the clg is always cleaned best

- About attenders annap and fakirap are very dangerous
- Some of the teachers in faculties are not best

The Karnataka Government runs the k counselling through which I have allotted to this college as I got less marks of the cut off marks so I didn't got an other college but I am happy with this college okay

- Very good campus and hospital has good inflow
- Very supportive professor and good classroom
Dislikes
- Baran land is more in college campus but the campus is good
- Insect are more during mansoon season and common bathroom

It is comparatively affordable than other college by reducing the hostel accommodation price and mess food is good and there is no veg also And you can easily get stanarior from society in college campus

This is one of the best medical colleges in Karnataka I selected this college because it is the most affordable college Due to affordable hostel fees and mess fees, I chose this college The faculty is one of the best out there

- Teaching of some subjects like faculty won't come

One can get Seat through the Neet entrance exam The admission process was quite late It should be done quickly and faster No reservation benefits Cut-off was around 450 marks private quota Application dates were available in the online website
