Course Curriculum Overview

4

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college itself provides internship after 4 years of the course and provide stipend of 15k per month currently They provide lot of research availability as icmr and understand ACU every year for those who are interested in research under a individual guide of their choice

Fees and Financial Aid

I have been paying 17 lakh per year excluding the hostel fees its a deemed college so fees is high and mine is a private seat under kea I didn't have any reservations . There is also government seat for which the fees is around 1.5 lakh per year .

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is good and the library is huge with availability of all the books and materials, they use smart boards n methods for teaching. There is freshers and farewell , ganesh chathurthi and alot of fests that happen every year for almost 4 to 7 days , and alot of sports activities including acu group for which participates in inter and intra sports . There are lots of clubs for welfare and fun activities

Hostel Facilities

4

The room specially girls hostel is decent enough and maintened well for the fees we pay. The meal is avergage and sometimes good The menu is normal food for breakfast all the southindian breakfast and after noon n night its chapathi curry , a colored rice like palav , rice sambar , rasam curd and papad sometimes a special meal with varities on month end or so . Most of the students are hostelites and the registration is on the 1st day of college we can choose are roomates . There are rooms and houses avail in the locality if someone decided to stay out of tue hostel

Admission

For my rank and marks in neet ug this was the college i got my rank was 1,37000 i got private seat in deemed college , i would have got sidhartha medical college in tumkur or sdm college in dharward for my marks and rank. I preferred this college listening to the reviews and the distance and everything as a whole . I got this seat in 1st round of my kea counselling . The exams accepted are neet ug only for mbbs . The eligibility is according to the nmc or the authority not by the college

Faculty

4

The faculty in the college is adequate to moderate depending on the branch . 1st and 2 nd year professors are more oriented to teaching and help out a lot in the beginning years . Alia maam is the best faculty she is biochem hod she is very passionate about teaching. Coming to exams There are 3 internals each year in which 50% much be scored to get eligibility for the university exams

Night Life

4

There are many dabba and cafes around the girls hostel curfew time is around 8 for ugs and 9 for interns. There is gym inside the hostel itself . It is highway and isn't very safe to roam alone but almost safe in groups according to me . Inside the campus there are canteen and hotels , cafes inside the hospital too . There are also normal shops where we can get basic everyday things and stuff . Most of the online platforms like amazon n etc provide delivery to campus itself

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
