Dislikes
- I don't dislike it much but many a times people fail to consider IPCW as a part of DU as they confuse it with Indraprastha University which is a different University
- Less chance for participating in sports at University level. I am really a sports lover and have won many competitions in my school but here I haven't got that opportunity
- The college timing 8-5:20 is very long. The classes should be winded up around 2:30-3:00 if it starts from 8 am
Course Curriculum Overview
Since class 11th only, I gained interest in Psychology and decided to pursue a degree in this particular field. The practical component really helps to get aware about multiple things related to humans. This course is challenging and exams are quite tough but as we know that nothing is impossible so we do manage things.
Internships Opportunities
As such I am not aware about the internship opportunities given by the college as I am not enrolled in any at present but there do come opportunities for the people interested. There is also a placement cell in the college which is active and students who are the members of placement cells do work for it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fee for 3 years is around 90000. The foreigners who come on scholarship get financial assistance in hostel fee. Also students from EWSs category have to pay less fee for the hostel and they even get some amount back that they paid as college fee after filling the form that is circulated considering the categories that falls under reservation.
Campus Life
The campus life is good but at the same time it is hectic too as we know assignments, reports and all. Shruti is the name of our Annual Fest which is really nice and there are various societies in the college and students can be a part of those societies if they are eligible for it. Overall it is nice and ofcourse experiences do provide a lot of knowledge.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good but the hostel fee is really too much but again there is safety and it is an ease for the hostellers because they don't have to travel to come to college. Meal quality is good. Hostel admission forms are uploaded and after filling it, students get admission if they are eligible. Hostel room comprises of 2 almirahs, 2 study table and chairs, 2 beds, 2 study lamps, 2 ceiling bulbs and fans, and 1 rack with 3 shelfs and we live in double sharing (1 room comprises 2 people)
Admission
As I got admission through CUET scores and I am the from the batch which gave CUET for the 1st time. IPCW was my 3rd preference and I got this college in the first round of admission process and I was really satisfied as I got enrolled in the exact course which I wanted to.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is good, like there are around 15-20 professors for around 90 students. I just can't take the name of the faculty without their consent but as a whole, I like all of them. Up till 2nd year, we had 7 papers and in 3rd year, we have 6 papers. As such students do not fail but a few get ERs in few subjects. The course i.e. Psychology is very relevant.
