Remarks

I was very disappointed after 1 month I joined the college when a Student joins in Christ his life will be full exams and assignments and our department doesn't even encourage students for fieldwork. It's very difficult to survive in Christ unless and until u have that academic rigor.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum was oriented towards upsc so whatever u learn in academics is part of civil and there were also many interesting curriculum especially history has some interesting topics like historiography and contemporary India etc

Internships Opportunities

Yes but I haven't gone to the internship. As far as I know, the internship is linked with some USI and students who have been there said to me that they have a very good experience. They said they have learned about some relations between countries.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our course has very fewer opportunities compared to other departments as our subjects are so general and more of the current situations and many of the students also doesn't show that much interest in the corporate sector.

College Events

4

To be specific our VRITTANT (international student organization) has very few events 1.Carpedium - to welcome the freshers 2. Sangam - an international fest which has various events like MUN, Debate, parliamentary debate, etc 3. Kartavya - Farwell to the students. There we many clubs in the department so they will active to engage students in co-curricular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fees are around 35K for 1st year The 2nd year it's 20K 3rd year its 17k It's feasible for even middle class students and there will be other expenses like staying ( there is no hostel for male UG students ) students need to stay in the paying guests which are feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides fee concession based on ur economic background this is valid only for the 2nd year students and 3rd year students can avail through their scholarship on a merit basis. As the amount, the offer is so minimal because we also pay less amount of 30k which is very less when compared with other departments.

Campus Life

3

If a student gets admission through sports quota then he or she will have the opportunity or else you should be a highly talented player to get into the university team and good thing about sports is the coaches are so good that they encourage the interested to come to daily practice and there are many instances where the person who doesn't know anything about the game has transformed into to a great player.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no hostel facility inside the campus and coming to infrastructure college is known for its infrastructure and there is a wide variety of opportunities available in the college and coming to facilities the college is green campus and campus is so peaceful.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are helpful. If you have good contacts with the alumni they respond as soon as possible so basically, many senior students will be in master programs at Christ university so it's easy to contact them and ask any questions about the academic curriculum.

Exam Structure

Christ is known for its examinations and internals(which were called as CIA) to speak frankly you will so busy with ur exams rather than enjoying the college to be specific there will some or the other assignment for every 20 days????

Admission

U need to apply and select the interview date after that you will come to college to attend interview *you should definitely come in formals to attend the interview * In the interview they will ask u some basic questions on the subject u opted for... they will mainly concentrate on ur flow in English speaking and how much content you have in ur chosen field.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of history and economics are excellent but not political science there are some experienced faculty in history and economics too but as far as political science is concerned its average. The faculty tries to engage in the class as much as possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
