What Students Say
Likes
- There is one of the biggest library in Delhi university colleges with all the courses related books and all types of news paper too and the news paper there was in 3-4 languages Hindi English and urdu and Bengali sometimes
- There is separated buildings for all the subjects like Science buildings and Commerce building and administrative building
- Fully wifi enabled campus where every individual has its own username and password for its wifi usage
Dislikes
- This college has no hostel of its own due to which most of the outside Delhi students have to face so many problems
- This college also not have its own Park and play ground so every one had to go outside to play any sports
- The cafeteria of the college is in very congested area and it needs to be reinnovate
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was around 9/10 on the scale of difficulty and 8/10 on the scale of timely finishing there course so you can prepare and there are labs and 1 must taken subject for application used in real world and one Machine language in every semester is taught too but they need work on there time management and about exams there is Class test every half Month and internal every month and final every 5 months
Placement Experience
So there is Placement cell which organises Placement fair every year and final year students are eligible for campus placement but due to Covid -19 in our time the placement fair was affected and but overall the placement ratio of this college is not that good as they higher lesser students for their grades than for social experience and comuter languages
Fees and Financial Aid
As Per mine,In the first year my fees was around 13000 and then next year it decreased for 800 Rs and it was 12200 and in the third year it increased a bit 13800 and other than this there is examination fees submitted as per the Generic Subject and labs you choose as mine was physics as generic subject and i had one Computer lab and one physics lab so my fees was 2000 per year .
Campus Life
My experience was 8/10 as When we got admission we get Fresher party by the seniors and there is individual course Fest every year and an annual fest for overall college in which Celebrities and singers come to perform as in our time 'The Landers' came to perform and we enjoyed it too much then there is of classrooms , most of the classrooms has Projector and green board availability. And most of the campus is cctv enabled and due to unavailablity of Playing ground there is no much place for sports but Indoor games like Table Tennis is there and I played it too it was on of the best time ????
Admission
i also applied in the Shyam lal college of south campus in the Bachelor of Science (Hons) Chemistry but the faculty was there not much good and as this course was introduced in that college 2018. And i could have admitted in that college too but I chose this college for the better faculty but I didn't get any rejection from any colleges as I applied for only these two colleges The admission process is One day program if you have your all the required documents ready.in my time the admission eligibility was based on your 10+2 results and i had 88% in PCME so got admission in 2nd merit list but students with better marks in intermediate gets prefrence
Faculty
Different courses has different faculties as Mathematics Faculty is one of the topmost faculty in DElhi university and Urdu departments has good faculty too but there are such courses that has not much better faculty i.e Chemistry Commerce Physical Education type
Other Applied Colleges
Zakir Husain Delhi College | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Chemistry)
I was more interested in Maths than Chemistry
