Likes

Jamia is very close to my home and also for other student there is good public transport services like metro and dtc buses
It’s the central university and ranked 3rd in the last nirf ranking
Jamia’s ba llb course ranks 6th in india which is quite good and I cracked the entrance to become the part of this university

Dislikes

There is no swimming pool and sports complex timing is very bad for students
Thy don’t organise events like other universities do. Fests are not so good also

Overall, i would rate the course curriculum at jamia millia islamia law school as highly relevant and fairly comprehensive. Relevance:- the curriculum effectively addresses current legal issues Comprehensiveness:- the core subjects are well covered

Placement Experience

See in my course i don't think that there are good placements in other colleges too. Because max. Students go for litigation, for which they join their seniors for internships which makes them a good advocate. Mass communication course of Jmi ranks 1st in India In MBA last year there was a highest package of 33 lacs was given to a student

Fees and Financial Aid

Jamia millia islamia takes fee yearly not per semesters. I'm pursuing ba llb and my total fee for 1 year is 15250 only and last year it was 10000 only, this year they are charging 5k more. Other bachelors degree fee is under 10k expect self finance courses

Campus Life

There is a foundation day of jamia which is celebrated like a festival im the university. It's celebrate on 28,29,30 October every year. There are many clubs of student welfare like SFI. There are also sports club to join, mant tournaments takes place for the students to do good in sports as well

Admission

I have applied for DU and JMI only. There was so much delay in Cuet result because of which Du results was also delayed. At that jamia declared their results and i got my name in ba llb then I didn't even think twice to skip this course, I blindly took the admission and i think it's worth it

Faculty

Faculty is quite good. They are well experienced and having a great teaching experience. One of my teacher used to be officiating VC of the university. According to me, my torts teacher is great, namely Prof. Faizan ur rehman sir. His teaching method is very good My pol science teacher is very great but she uses very hard vocabulary, i think which is not necessary for the 1st year students as it makes a lil bit hard to understand the lecture

Vips TC is an amazing law college!

Likes

Probably the only law college in India which still has weekly test system.
Intenrships in top law firms and under top supreme court lawyers are provided through our college.
Research is given a lot of importance and every semester students have to write a minimum of 1 research paper.

Dislikes

Campus is small in comparison to the number of students that study here.

Placement Experience:

At VIPS because we are provided proper intenrships form 3rd year and most students impress the lawyers or the law firms and grabs intenrships through that. Around every year because 400-500 students pass form our college, half of them walk away with jobs in hand.

Best college for legal studies

Proper transportation facilities available in the building .
well furnished and properly built building .
specific rooms like reading room , common room etc available for group discussions.

Placement Experience:

top mncs companies hire students from our college campus . studnets become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester onwards in our college. students are properly trained before interviews in various mnc .

Ideal Institute is ideally best for Law..

Likes

Both management and law colleges are interlinked and for events both the department work in tandem.
Our course is tough as GSSIPU is tougher than DU and that's what makes it more competence than others.
Skillset development program is done by our placements cell and therefore from second year and that includes speaking and reasoning abilities.

Dislikes

Definitely the campus size as it's one of the most tiniest campuses of Delhi.

Placement Experience:

Not many companies or the large corporate but distinct lawyers send their requirements for intenrs and jobs too. Freshers are in demand and this is why Studnets from our college find themselves placement.

Likes

The faculy is knowledgeable and approachable, making learning easy and engaging.
The campus has a decent infrastructure, with clean classrooms and a well- maintained library.
Various societies and events (ZENITH) keep the campus life active.

Dislikes

The admin process can be slow at sometimes
Library seating is limited during peak hours, can be little inconvenient.

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered with an average of 600000 LPA, Top recruiters include ( TATA PLAY LIMITED, RRR Legal Advisors ) I would plan to establish my own law firm after completing the course. Various fest and job fairs are organised for opportunities. Placement cell is there to provide assistance in this sphere.

Some information about MSI

Likes

The flexibility of engagement with teachers and other students. The teachers a helpful and they do provide really good data and resources for learning
The library have some really good collection of referance books along with literature. The campus isn't really big yet the surroundings are quiet pleasant.
The campus isn't really big yet spacious and their are nice cafes and food outlets around the college.

Dislikes

The traffic near the gate because of big cars and e riksha
The campus is good however there's no eye catching architecture so don't expect the students of the year kind of campus
Basic amenities are good but could be improved

Placement Experience:

The placements are good, students can beg upto 8-10 lakh or more with their efforts as well. The number of students getting placement is also decent for about more than half of the students of a class get placed. However I looking for some off campus placements due to variety available in my career.

My college , became my dream college.

Likes

This is afflicted college have its own campus and it actually feels different from other ipu colleges .
There are many societies working independently which you can enroll for other activities.
The accomodation is also given and it is pro hindu college.

Dislikes

The teachers have no experience in teaching , and no expertise
In law , there's a fake placement cell which is of zero value
The overall teaching is not good , and have to study on your own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The overall law course is good indeed the college provide limited infrastructure for your legal studies and also have its own legal services clinic but there is no exposure as such as no one visits the place. The teachers should be more experienced and by this the college ranking would be much more higher than it is right now. The frequency and timing of exams are somewhat similar to that of other colleges and is deriving its exam dates from the IPU main campus date sheet only.

That there is no ragging and seniors are just like any other siblings over here who would guide you and help you to do even little things.
The faculty staff of some subjects is very understanding and helpful.

Dislikes

The college atmosphere is not very good because it creates a lot of pressure on students.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of my college stands currently at 34% students being placed. Top Indian Law firms visit our college and give PPOs and offer letters on Day 0. The placement rate keeps on changing as many choose judiciary or litigation as their career options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The law department's faculty members are highly qualified, and their teaching methods are commendable. They are extremely hardworking, and they go out of their way to give us a lot of exposure by taking us to the supreme court, high court, Dwarka district court, parliament, and other places. They frequently have several sessions with honorable justices from various courts. Our teachers put in a lot of effort and try their hardest to keep our standards to NLUs when it comes to organizing MUNS to national moot court competition.

Take a look at my college

As I have mentioned earlier that the fees for my btech course is very cheap as compare to other colleges that's why I chose this college over other colleges this college gives you a good return on investment as fees is very less and average package is also decent. No I didn't applied for any other colleges nor I didn't receive any rejection. Admission process is very simple and smooth for this college and course. First of all you have to give jee mains exam and to score good rank if your rank lies less than 1.5lakhs you will surely get admission in this college for any btech branch according to your rank. So after getting cutoff rank you will need to fill their seperate registration form for admission as this University doesn't participate in josaa and other counselling it conducts their own counselling so for this you have to fill their admission form in around month of March -April then after declaration of jee mains result they start selecting students according to their cutoff and give them admission.If your name comes then simply you just have to go with your documents and complete their admission process and pay fees then that's it your admission is complete and start your classes....Read More
