All about GECK!

The factor which influence me to took this course was my brother was a graduated polytechnic student he was also a machanincal engineering student when i was in 10th class i was so excited about these core mechanical subjects and i really wanted to study them all The btech degree we will learn all basic and advance theorums and after those we join a company and we will apply those theories to complete a social problem After 6 th semester students must practise for an company interview Our Technological University(KTU) is nor a good university there are somany isuues with the university some times 6 months semester will be deduced to 3 or 4 months which is very difficult to cover all portions for exams.

I am a second year student and internships will start form the last stage of second year. We can do internship at the time of sem break and year break we will get 10 days as sem break and approximately 1 month as year break

From the 7th semester onwards students can admit for campus placements The highest slary package was 12 LPA and average qas 4.5 LPA In our department 90% students get placement so in our whole college the percentage of students getting placement will be nearly 70-75% My plan is to take RRB exam after the digree and to join in indian railway as ALP(Assistant Loco Pilot)

There will be year wise fee and sem wise fee between 6 months the sem fee includes tuition fee,college bus fee,university affiliation fee and exam fee sc/st and e-grantz scholar ship students have concessions.studebts can avail diffrent types of scholarship like e-grantz and some scholarships which are provided by banks and the parents job willing sector

Lakshya is the official technical feat of our college which is held once a year Our College had a public library and each departments have a common library in their block Seating and digitak facilities are good in our college There is a big issue with sports activity that our college doesnt have any playing ground only our college have a small bascket ball court There are many student run social groups in our college like ISTE,Musuc Club,Arts Club and diffrent clubs for each department also.

Basically i am a paying guest student becouse,our college doesnt have any mens hostel.college only have womens hostel. I bought food from my neighbouring aunty who cook food and give to students like me who are living as paying guest Near CVN Kalari,Gopalan Gurukkal Road,East Hill,Calicut 673005

I only put mechanical engineering in all collages which i applied for admission. I had a great love to took admission in mechanical engineering at best 2 collages engineering collages in kerala which are College Of Engineeing Trivandrum and Goverment Engineeing College,Thrissur which are soo good collages which gets nirf rankings for best collages in india but i didnt have enough rank in KEAM exam which is an entrance exam for admission to engineering collages and after i got admission into my current college Government Engineering Collge, Kozhikode

Previousle i said about our faculty who works inside and out side our department is very friendly in behaviour and all of them are very supportive. Our mechanical department HOD is very close to us and ge help us to improve our self in every sem wise.
