College management is a good college that is clean and tidy with not strict rules. But sometimes college staff goes in strike mostly to the library staff.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is according to Delhi University. I have opted for Bsc Physical Science with computer science which is 3 years course. I liked the course and there are all the necessary subjects in the course. Exams are taken as an internal assessment and assignments also in each semester. At the end of the semester, we have our final exams and there are a total of 6 semesters.
Placement Experience
Placement of the college is not that much good but our placement cell society provides with good internships for the enhancement of the student. I have applied for the various internship and got selected in a few of the internship like Collegedunia, Youngs Edsplorer Pvt LMT.
College Events
There are lots of society in the college which we can join. Every society conducts its events each year like dance, drama, finance, quizzes, fashion various games event is also conducted. Various students from different colleges come for participation. Every year college conducts a fest where some famous personality or celebrity is invited for the meetup.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I study BSc in physical science and we pay fees every semester. The different course has a different fees structure. My course fee structure is very nominal. I have paid around 8k in my first semester of BSc physical science which is lower than the other college around.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan. There are scholarships and education loans for the student who is eligible for the same. Opting is easy they just have to fulfill the necessary requirement.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good everyone here is friendly. Gender ration is almost equal as it is co-ed college. People here are from different states and region and nearby places but most of them are from Haryana. As college has different societies, therefore, there are lots of chance of extracurricular ( Debate society-both Hindi and English, Technical quizzes and competition, etc). Labs are cleaned and well equipped. The college has lots of sports and every year the sports day is conducted and college sports teams go for different colleges and states.
Alumni/Alumna
At starting, seniors can only be reached after their classes because it's a little hard to find in the crowd and sometimes get to know the seniors during the election.
Admission
Motilal Nehru College comes under Delhi University. After the few months of a 12th result, a cutoff is released. Every college releases its cutoff list and according to marks obtained we go to the particular college for the admission and verification process. Colleges that come under Delhi University releases the number of cutoff list acc to seat availability. I also got admission in one of the cutoff lists.
Faculty
The faculty of the respective subjects here are really cooperative and friendly. Faculty here are well educated and understanding. Doubts can be easily cleared in the classroom and as well as in the staff room. They don't mind clearing doubts. I would rate them 9 out of 10.
