Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is quite interesting as it provides a number of subjects to choose even in first year Sujects like green buildings , waste management, renewable development, sustainable development and nono technology are very interesting to study.

Placement Experience

2.5

Student from 5th sem are eligible for campus placements There are alot of placements for cs students but mostly mass recruiter companies for core branches Highest package is around 50 lakhs Average package is around 5-6 lakhs There are a lot of criteria to be eligible for even sitting for the placement round

Fees and Financial Aid

I have completed my 1st year in Bmsce and i would say It was Okish in terms of experience . I got in through Comed-k so my annual fees was around 2 lakhs 60 thousand and also gave extra 15 thousand during the admission time as a non karnataka student. Most of the students are either from kcet or management. Kcet fees is around 80 thounsand and management fees varies according to the branch and availability. Crowd is good and if you are someone who really want to study should really join this. Also the attendence is very harsh specially for first year. You have to maintain 85? otherwise you will be ineligible to give sem end exams. Talking of scholarships, there are scholarships available but only for karnataka residents only not outside karnataka. There are no aid for students from any other state.

Campus Life

3.5

There is UTSAV which is the main fest around july which last for 3 days Also phaseshift is there 2 days in december There are so many student clubs including cultural and tech clubs Also there are clubs for all branches and they also have there respective fests and events

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms are both 2 and 3 sharing given on the basis of the chit system Food is ok provided 4 times in a day includind breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner Variety is there in the menu and taste is average Hostels are quite expensive but not restricted Free to move anywhere before 9:30 pm Hostel fees is around 2 lakhs and provide with facilities like washing machine, hot water, lift, refrigerator etc

Admission

As an engineering aspirant i also prepared for JEE but it didnt went well . So i have gave other exams like VITEEE and MHTCET. I didn't wanted to go to Vit and MHTCET went well but had a state criteria because of which I wasnt able to join any college via mhtcet Comedk was my last option so i decided to give it all and i got bms by comedk councelling

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is good only if you are sincerely working . They are helpful and approachable While some are really bad amd inconsiderate. There are 2 internal exams called CIE and 1 Sem end SEE for one semester. See are much more difficult than cies. One can easily score in cie but not in see

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.
