EXPLORING GROWTH AND COMMUNITY AT JAI HIND COLLEGE: A TRANSFORMATIVE JOURNEY

I loved it field because of ai !! It was curious about learning the ai !! So I decided to join the basic of it ! So I got to know about Bscit and i enrolled in it !! As everyone knows IT plays a major role in everything ! IT connects to the technology world !

I got intership in Zoho as a web developer !! I learned a lot in that !! I got 8000 monthly!! I have done project's in Java , python, flask, C and django connectiing with MySQL and making it user friendly and responsive!!

I know a senior but he got placement in accenture with the package of 5 lakhs lpa. And many of them got the placement from the college. Some of them got offer by themselves. We are eligible for campus placement after sem 4 or sem 5. Companies which visited jai hind College are Accenture, Zoho , TCS , Infosys, Microsoft, Mahindra, hcl , Wipro, Amazon etc !! Highest package from IT was 15 Lakh lpa and average package was 3 lakh lpa. I don't know properly maybe in Previous year from 68 students. 50 students got placement. My plan is to do master and side by side Artificial Intelligence course and developing skills in programming language

I am Chris Harris, currently in my 2nd year of BSc IT at Jai Hind College. These are some of the fees that were included in fees structure Year 1 Fees (2023-24): ?40,000 Year 2 Fees (2024-25): ?45,000 Tuition Fees: ?25,500 Exam Fees: ?3,150 Development Fees: ?2,750 Laboratory Fees: ?9,000 Computer Practicals: ?1,500 Other Fees / Extra Curricular Fees: ?350 etc For the 3rd year, the exact fee is not yet confirmed, but there might be an increment of ?5,000, bringing the total to ?50,000. Regarding scholarships, I am not fully aware of the details. However, I do know that students from the Sindhi community are given preference for certain scholarships or financial assistance.

There are 2 library in jai hind college! Each and every book is available over there and there will be previous year question paper that will be helpful for the students! One of the standout experience for me was participating in the cyberstrike event organised by the IT, SD, Msc Big data analytics department! I was sub-head of the technical team which helped me to gain invaluable knowledge on managing sponsorship and handling events. This experience was a great opportunity for personal growth and skill development.

I applied for st Xavier's, jai hind , wilson, sies sion and andrews college. But i got rejected in Xavier's ! In Xavier's there was cet for entrance!! I failed because of 4 to 5 marks less !! And i got accepted by every college I have mentioned above !! In Mumbai the first best college is Xavier, second one is jai hind !! So I thought to get addmission in jai hind !! In jai hind they also kept cet i got passed in that!! The entrance exam marks was 67 out of 75!! Overall addmission process was simple !!

The faculty to student ration i can't clearly say it but maybe there are two type of faculty one is teaching staff and another one is non teaching staff . teaching staff means the one who teaches the subject or course and non teaching staff means like the assistant of the teacher ! I love the faculty of it department but not all! Non faculty staff are super supertive in everything!! In teaching staff the supertive teachers are Sunita ma'am , shradha ma'am , etc !! In a year there will be 2 semester that means in 3 years there will be 6 semester! In each semester there will be practical exam and theory exam !! Practical exam means you have to write the program the code according to the question and show the output to the faculty!! And other one is theory which we have to write in paper !! The theory will be of 50 marks and the practical paper will be of 20 marks !
