Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have choosed computer science and I think it well suits me as I love being techy and love to code. The curriculum is perfect for coders but I hate that we have to learn electronics, statistics and environmental studies as subjects I mean it is useless for computer science students. The course is 70% theory and 30% practical. This is what I don't like atleast it should be 50-50 so that students get practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are very few internship opportunities in our college and companies like Wipro and Infosys offer it with very less stipend. In third year we have to do a project related to our course in which you can get selected for internship on the basis of the project.

Placement Experience

2

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

Fees and Financial Aid

So the total fees for bsc(cs) is 59000 and it has to be paid till the second semester of every month Our college also provides scholarship and the amount depends on the basis of categories and open category can also apply for scholarship by giving income certificate My friend is from other state and the fees for students from other states is 90000

Campus Life

2

There are some of the events held in our college like sports day, annual day, traditional day, bollywood day, and other compititions like essay, dance, sports, singing, etc. but I really don't like the management of our college it is just so bad that's why many students don't even participate in these activities There are very limited books available in the library and journals are provided one week before the exam approaches and they give all the written work at that time There is one student club in our college which offers some of the interesting things like plank competition, typing competition, quiz etc.

Admission

I applied in Indira college first but I didnt got addmission there for my less marks and also they were not accepting donation. Then I applied in this college my friend told me about this college, the addmission process was quite simple and they also charged donation of 75000 which I think is alot and they gave reason of late addmission.

Faculty

2

The student ot ratio in our college is 1:100 and I think it is very bad to have such ratio. The faculty is not responsive we sometimes never know if there is lectures in our college or not and half of the students do not attend lectures. Overall I like only one facility and that is maths department. All the sir/ ma'am in this department and well educated and solves the doubt. Other faculty is just useless. There are 2 main University exams in a year and they are hard.

Night Life

3

So our college is located in very good area of pimpri, which I think feels safe I haven't been there in night but I think it is pretty safe around. There is no gym in our college and we have one canteen in our college which I think is average Outside college campus we can find many eateries to have snacks.

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.
