Likes

Library was quite good because we can find a large no of variety of book which was really helpful for preparation of exam
In our college there was a gym also so for those students who has gym freakers it was helpful so I really used to like it
Garden party of our college I really did like because in that place we used to play games with our classmates and friends

Dislikes

The canteen was not so good itvwas just ok ok because of the food taste and quality due to this we used to carry our own tiffin
We don't have lift on that time so whenever we need to go computer room we have to use stairs to reach 5th floor

The curriculum was prepared according to the toughness and similar for the main cu examination so that students get prepared and score better in main exams even this college has record that theirs students gets more than 60 percentage in cu exam

Mostly we used to get internships and jobs related to the accounts department as we were students of commerce so mainly we faced accounting internship in renowned companies of Kolkata some also got the opportunity for audit section

We have placement cell in our college The placement cell used to organize campus placement in 3rd year of the college They prepare for us after that we used to sent the students for sit in the campus interview

Fees and Financial Aid

The early fees which we have invested that is approximately 36000 including tuition fees annual function fees library fees cantees fees We used to pay at quarterly basis in every 3 months we have to pay the fees if anyone is not paying that time then they have to pay at semester exam time Exam fees was approximately 4000 on every semester For BA and BSC semester students the fees was different and their fees was leeser than us Also we have to pay 351 rs for cu exam form fees at every semester

Campus Life

Overall it was a good experience to complete graduation from this college as I heard about the study and exams patterns I experienced the same ans scored star marks in my graduation so really happy for it

Admission

I applied for this college because it is on scale one for commerce colleges in Kolkata for govt colleges so I decided to take admission in that also this college has some records and reputation that their students gets much score in comparison to other colleges because of their study and exam patterns

Faculty

All the teachers and staff of the college was quite good and helpful All the female teachers are really helpful they used to provide extra classes The exam patterns are quite similar to the cu pattern because they prepared us for the main exams and also uses to provide the entire instructions and guidance

Interview Experience

The admission process was like firstly we need to exam forms online and after some days they'll prepare merit list of the students according to the availability of the seats in this no gd or interview was there

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college. A Glimpse of Jaipuria
