Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Ok if I talk about my course in comprehensive manner then my course is enough good to study it is very interesting course to study at the same time it would be tough for some students. I have many friends that get scared from the name of physics. But physics is very interesting subject if I talk it's curriculum then it's curriculum is designed in such a way that it creates a level of analytical thinking in our mind. Studying physics can help us in solving many problems. It boosts out power of thinking and before graduation we just had learning power but since when I get admitted in this course I started thinking upon a theory or something topic vey deeply. Really it level up our thinking or memory power. The regular tests ,viva ,oral tests , practical all of these helps us in leveling up our thinking power.and when we have such type of thinking power we can handle any kind of situation very easily and we can crack exams easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hey the college in which I am studying and the course that I am pursuing has a fees of nearly 19000 rupees for one year including both the semester. And we have to pay extra for the examination fees which ranges from 1000-1500 rupees . And if I talk about the scholarship,my college has a scholarship as financial aid which is given to financial weaker students. And the fees of my course vary depending on the number of labs and theory classes ,for example currently we have 3 labs out of which two of the lab is of 2hrs and 1 is of 4 hrs . The fees also depends on the course.for example student of history Hons will have a lesser fees than that of physics hons student.

Well my college is good in all these above mentioned aspects. In the year 2024 my college gets the best fest award in the north campus. The fest was of two days ,the first day was for dj night and on 2nd day Nikita Gandhi came , he sang songs and dances for almost 4hrs all the students enjoyed very much ,the vibe ,the dj creates a different level of vibe .all the students enjoyed hard and students from different colleges came to our college.apart from fest my college organise ethnic day on which all the students have to wear ethnic dress suck as kurta, shirts ,kurti, saree and we take photos on this days . And on the eve of diwali my college organise diwali mela in which various types of stalls are installed in college and also it creates a different vibe we dance on this day ,we enjoy.my college also organise sports day in which students can participate. There are many societies in our college some of them are enactus,SFS,NSS backbeat, dancing society.

Admission

If I talk from the starting so we there is entrance exam called cuet-ug exam where students can give this exam and get admission into any central universities like Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University and many more so this all the admission procedure is very simple after clearing the exam we get the scorecard on the basis of score we fill preference list which depends on us the college where we wanted to get admission. In Delhi University there are total of 3 rounds of admission process and also some spots round and also our college gets admission on the basis of sports cirtificate or eca cirtificate.in first list I got admitted into Atma Ram sanatan dharam college then I applied for upgradation and in the 2nd list I got admission in ramjas college (north campus) which I wanted and get admission into my dream college and I thinks my college is perfect for me . The infrastructure, the faculties and more these all the things makes my college perfect for me

As I mentioned earlier that my college is one of the oldest college of Delhi University therefore my college has number of good facilities.and also my college has a kind of movement known as mentor -mentee in which a group of 10-20 students are assigned to a single teacher, where they can talk about their problems with their respective teachers and they help the students in tackling the problems. The students can ask any type of questions in the mentor -mentee.And there are enough number of faculties in my college. Some of the faculties that I liked are Dr. Sashi Thakur,he teaches us thermal physics and he teaches us very well all the students of my class liked him . We love the way he teaches us . Ok if I talk about the exams , we have to study much to pass the exams almost all the students get passed in the exams . There are total of two exams in one year one for the starting semester and one for the ending semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
