Course Curriculum Overview

In our college mostly focus on theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge. Our laboratories conditions is very much poor. Our college inducts new courses like AI ML, Aerospace engineering, Petroleum engineering, Biomedical engineering etc.

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

In our college placement condition is very good. Core placements is very good as compare to software placements. From 7th semester you are eligible for campus placement. JSW, VEDANTA, L&T, MARUTI SUZUKI, DELOITTE, TCS, TATA MOTOR, TATA ELECTRONIC, ADANI, ABG, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have 8 semesters and per semester we have to pay 35000 (18000 for hostel and 17000 for course fees). Mainly here we apply two state scholarship that is post matric and state scholarship. Our college fees increases once in a two or three years but it is very slide.

Campus Life

In our college you have to learn many more extra curricular activities. Our clubs like Veers Racing, Veer Racers, Aerotech, IIC, ASME, ROBOTICS etc technical clubs gives very much practical knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel environment is very good. Our hostel provides 4times food. That is Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner. In one week there are 4days nonveg is provided etc. Near the college there are many rent rooms or PG hostel will be provided.

Hostel Fee: INR 38000 per year

Admission

In odisha the best and old engineering college is VSSUT BURLA. In placement section in compre to other college our core placement is very much good. Comparatively in other college like cultural and technical fest is very good.

Faculty

In one semester there are two exams one is mid semester another one is end semester. Mid semester is of 30 marks and end semester is 50 marks and 20 marks is teacher assignment which is based on your assignment submission , performance in the class etc.

A quick view on KIIT university from a Fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty solid in KIIT university, the average goes around 8 to 9L every year and max package was about 56L in 2023. Being a fresher i am not sure about 2024 results yet, but many companies do visit college during placement season.

Placement Experience:

Placements are praiseworthy here. In my branch , average package is around INR 4 lakhs. There are good opputunities about getting a high paid job due to wide connectivity of the placement cell of the university. Its near 97 to 98 percent placement in all branches every year. My plans are to pursue higher studies since I am more allied to research purpose than industry working.

My VSSUT Experience

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as JSW, Delloite, Tata Power, Bitwise, Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Aqua Green, etc come to campus. Their average package differs from 3LPA to 6LPA. Some companies ask CGPA of more than 6 while other asks for 8. I'll be pursuing an M.Tech after getting a B.Tech Degree.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester, Placement opportunities are available and the criteria is more than 7.0 CGPA,No backlog. Based on the company criteria Many companies like TCS,Tech Mahindra, Wipro,Q-spider, Flipkart, Infosys, Aditya Birla group and 50+ others companies,No offers more than 330+ 75% of students are placed. Highest package is 18 lacs and Average package is 3lakhs based on the companies. More than 75% were getting placements. My plan is to getting placed in company approx package 6lacs per annum with job security

Kiit college-not too good not too bad

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

I have applied to OUTR, Bhubaneswar, IGIT, Sarang, and VSSUT, Burla. I got a confirmed admission from all three colleges but I chose VSSUT because it has an NIRF ranking of 151. Also, it has so many technical and cultural clubs from which I can enhance my skills as well as gain experience while working on many projects. No, I didn't get any rejection from another college. You can get admission to VSSUT through JEE or OJEE exam. You must secure 60% in your intermediate. The cut-off for different branches will be different.
