- environment is quite good....all the people there are friendly and cooperative
- professors are great....they r ready to help any student with open heart....they are quite experienced in their respective fields
- campus is so beautiful and clean....we can find many places in the campus where we can just sit and take a sigh of relief
Dislikes
- hostel food is not very good....it is sometimes very oily sometimes insects are there in the food....
- some of the students there do smoking...that smoking culture troubles me the most
- hostel fee is increasing per year....its really not affordable for many of the students studying there...
Course Curriculum Overview
my course is history hons.....talking about the syllabus....it is well maintained..it is divided into three periods....ancient for the first year,medieval for the 2nd year and modern for the 3rd year....the topics choosen are very interesting..besides this syllabus is also helpful for most of the competitive exams....
Fees and Financial Aid
jamia milia islamia is one of the best universities in india....its environment is worth to die for.....its is easily accessible ...talking about hostels,hostel fee in my opinion is a bit too much.....rest is ok
Campus Life
actually i just spent my ist year in jamia....it was a wonderful year where a learnt a lot about many new things...i never used to socialise but when i took admission in jamia all my insecurity faded at once....i began to socialise...moreover there were many fests we attended and also we attended many seminars which were quite helpful.
Hostel Facilities
hostel is ok ok...neither too good nor too bad....but sometimes the food is not good..many a times insects were found mixed with vegetables..talking about my hostel room it is ok...we have got a bed and a study table which is beneficial....we have got an almirah too where we can place our things.....we have got a balcony too..
Admission
i choose this college because i had always thought of taking admission in jamia..it was my dream college...this is the only college where i applied,i didn't apply to any other college....because i wanted to take admission there...because of its environment ...
Faculty
the faculty is quite good and friendly at the same time...they treat u as their own children...they are easily accessible...talking about my favorite,undoubtedly mr pk basant sir....he is awesome....i dont think there is any proff i didn't like....all are very knowledgeable and helpful at the same time..
