The faculty members are great. They have a very friendly behaviour towards us.

The campus is far away from the main city of Kolkata
There can be a seperate place for the students who are waiting for their classes
College fest and freshers should be organised by the college itself

Course Curriculum Overview

As I'm persuing bba in healthcare and hospital management it's is very important for me to face people and being able to talk to people with confidence. I think my college will surely prepare me to face the real world with confidence

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college snu will provide us internship at the end of third year. The internship can be paid or non paid. I don't know much about it right now as I'm only a first year student right now. I think my review will help others too.

Placement Experience

Techno India have it's own hospitals. So for students of health care management it becomes easy to get their placement in any of the hospitals of techo India. Other than this they conduct interviews in leading hospitals like disha, Apollo etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fees is around 500000. Each semester we have to pay 54000. For the admission I paid 94000. The semester fees will not increase further. For btech cse the course fees is 800000. There are scholarships available for students who are good in dance, sports etc which is upto 100%.

Campus Life

The campus of snu is truly beautiful with full of greenery. Also there are no incidents of ragging which is a great thing. Inside the campus er have cafe, food truck and canteen. There are playgrounds for the students to play and different clubs for different activities which are actually intresting

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is great. Monthly we have to pay 11000. The food is great. We have from hostel to take us to the college which makes transportation easy for us. There are fridge, washing machine , geyser and wifi for us in the hostel

Admission

Snu comes under techno India group which is growing rapidly. Snu has it's own value. They provide good placements to the students. A good placement is one of my major reason toh join snu. Also the faculty is good as compared to other colleges. I haven't tried for any other college

Faculty

For each semester we have one mid sem and one end sem exam. Mid sem is of 20 marks and end sem is of 100 marks. The faculty members are very much friendly and Frank towards us. They try to help us in each possible way they can and they teach us all the important topics which will come in our exams.

Stepping stone to success

Placement Experience:

Now i am pursuing BBA in final year, from the 3rd semester i gotten the opportunity for internship in Godrej. And many companies came here like Honda, Tata, Dhoot Transmission pvt ltd.etc.Atleast 90% student getting placement from here, company came here and selected the eligible students for their organization. Positive remarks about college, they specifically take care of everyone they call at home if any student is irregular or not serious about his/her study. So everyone attends classes and lectures a minimum of 75% and teachers motivate students for their all-over growth and performance.

Insights of SNU

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
