- well i liked the college fest a lot. it was quite better than nearby engineering colleges
- the sports culture is very good. facilities for all sports are available. even there is a gym here and a swimming pool
- the fact that the college has been established in the year 1921. so the college is very famous and has good name in the society
Dislikes
- the infrastructure of the college is very poor as it is very old
- the library service is only from 9am to 8 pm . people who want to study at night cannot avail the service of the library
- the auditorium is quite small and accommodates very less people and even the chairs speaker quality and mics are not in good condition
Course Curriculum Overview
yes i find the couse very relevant. all the subjects that we have got are very relevant to to computrer sciences as they should be. cousre curriculum according to me needs no changes also the teaching methods of our cse teachers are good.
Internships Opportunities
the internship opportunities for cse people is good. like american express goldman sacks and many such prestigious companies arrive for providing internships to students. they are like for two months mostly and stipends varies from 30000 to 100000
Placement Experience
laast year was recession period so honestly the placements were not really good but overall till now the placements especially for the cse people has been quite good. like 70 percent of the people are mostly placed on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
well here all categories have the same amount of fees. even females. yes they do provide some scholarships based on your financial condition and on the basis of your college performance cgpa. as far as i know the fees i slightly increased each year.
Campus Life
ifrastructure of the college is poor as it is all very old.clubs and societies in the college are good and provide good opportunities to all. the fest also is really good and enjoyable and all organised by students.
Hostel Facilities
well the hostels are like average . i have got a single room but the washrooms are not too good. hostel life is amazing with friends . the mess of hostel is not too good and the menu also. moreover the room has a almirah fan and lights and switches
Admission
well i am from patiala punjab .after giving my jee exam when i searche dfor colleges pec seemed a good option since it had good placdment stats and also was very near from my home. eligibility for the college is jee percentile mains.
Faculty
not all faculty but yes a few of them are good in nature. the professors of cse department are very chill. the exams are divided into two sets mid sem and end sem the level of which is neither too easy nor too difficult. also we have relative grading sysytem. thus even average students who are not too good in studies have a goood chance to score good marks
