Honest Review from a Nit Student

In the fist year every student wants to explore and enjoy 1st year but in our 1st year syllabus is soo bad.We have 6 subjects in 1 sem and also 6 subjects in 2nd sem .If someone love to study they have no issues with it but i think they might change the curriculum of 1st year . But this have many benefits also you may prsctices for gate earlier.

Our college give average 4LPA and highest package is 27LPA which is so good. Yes my college offered on campus placement with multiple offers.Many companies came to our college for placement examples capegimini,acenture ect. and see the exact data from placement data from offical college website.

In our college the fees per month is around 64000 (Electronics and communication depertment) and in CS courses they give around 70000 and mechanical ,civil and electrical 50000. admission fees is 72800 and it is increased in 2024,caution money is 10000 and exam fees is 1200. electronics depertment have 50000 rupees scholarship and other scholership mentioned in official web sites.

The overall experience is good it would be better.Campus is good but there are two colleges have same campus (JIS university) but no issues with it.college fees are icreasing in 2023 highest fees is 5,50000 and in 2023 in our batch they increased to 600000 and now it is 700000 .there are many clubs like coding club ,sports,environment and many more .It will unlock for newbies from 2nd year.

The addmison process is good now.Nit have best campus around all kolkata colleges i think,Nit have a good average placements packeges.The wbjee councilling gave me this college so i go for it ,before i rejected future institute of technology and they have worst campus and infrastructure.

Faculty and student ratio is good, but there are so many students.Faculty is very good we havevery good relation with faculty members. I think Electronics depertment HOD kaushik sir is best from my perseption. If we have any kind of problem we go to amit nigam sir or Hod sir they are very good.
