Likes

Curriculum was good as compared to other colleges in the city.
We organized biggest tech fest in East Zone.
My department professors were at good and helpful.

Dislikes

75 percent attendance is mandatory, It's bit hectic.
Our college ground is limited to one, unable to accommodate all students at once.
We don't have hostels as our college space is limited.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers were good and partially practical based. Our practical sessions were good and the guides were good. It will be good if strength is confiscated to 60 in each section. The course curriculum is good and doesn't need improvement. It is at par.

Placement Experience

4th year students eligible for college placements. Most mass recruiting comapnies visited like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro etc. The highest package is from CSE and our department average pacakge is 3.3 LPA and the profile is different for different companies. 50 to 60 percent students gets placed. To get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fees- 32000 Year 1- 80000 Year 2- 80000 Year 3- 80000 Year 4- 80000 We don't have any tuition fee waiver for categories like SC, and ST. It is different for different courses. Not Available at our time.

Campus Life

Annual cultural fest - ANACHRONOUS ( April-May), Annual Tech fest- EDGE(Oct-Nov) The accessibility of books was there but journals were not present much. The facilities and technological provision were average. The sports facilities were not good. But we had different sports tournaments every year. We were involved in NSS, a social group of colleges that mainly deals with charity.

Admission

I applied to two colleges Calcutta University and Techno India, Saltlake. I got rejected from Calcutta University due to my rank. I gave WBJEE and during 3rd counseling I got the admit of Techno India, Saltlake. You need to get certain WBJEE rank to get into the college.

Faculty

faculty to student ratio is 10:1. In our department faculty's are good and approachable. Chayan Kumar Basak and Baban Mandal were best. Their way of teaching was good. No, all the faculties were good. There were 8 semester and it is intermediate and 16 internals overall. 20 percent student fail the exams. It's at par with the industry.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.
