Review of North Lakhimpur College

I love the subject history from childhood,so I took the subject.It is a very good course and will help us in any competitive exam preparation.The course of history can be improve if we get financial support from the higher othority.

Our course history needs 6000 fees per semister means 12000 per year,but it is totally free for BPL card holder family.Our teachers helps us in any trouble in our educational and personal life also. There is reservation catagory for OBC,SC,and ST casts, but the addmission fees is same.A amount of rupees 1200 per semister needs for exam from fillup.Many schoolerships are available for students in merit , like _ 1. Ishan Uday 2. OBC schoolership and 3.SC/ST schoolership. There is same fees structure for BA students.Little amount of fees is higher for the BSC students because they have to pay practical and laboratry fees. Fees of BCA students is higher than us.They have to pay 12000 per semister and extra practical fees also.But the exam fromfillup fees is same for every student.Students have to pay rupees 800 for one paper and rupees 1200 for two or more papers,if they have backlogs. we also pay some money for celebrations in dept.

We celebrate Saraswati Puja in February.Then every national and state days and festivals are celebrated in our college.. we celebrate bihu in college in the first day of bihu.then Independence day, Republic day are celebrated in our college every year.We have our college week in November or December

I also applied in Lakhimpur Girl's College for addmission.But choose to join North Lakhimpur College because i heard history department of North Lakhimpur College is better than Girl's College. I didn't gey a rejection from other colleges. Our college had merit based addmission process in the time of my addmission. But now it held CUET .

Faculty-to-students ratio is quite good in our college. There is a teacher per 30-40 students . Facultys are good in there duties and they help students in there problems.They help students in educational and personal life also. The faculty I like most is ' Dr. Chandra Mantche '. He is a very gentle man and very helpfull towards students.he loves his students so much,and help them in there studies.He is give financial support to poor students.I also like 'Dr. Rupanjali Morang ', she is like a mother for her students.She helps her students in any possible way.she is very kind.I also like Miss Zyootika Patir mam and Atanu Gogoi sir. 2 seasonal exams,one seminar, group discussion and final exam is held in every semister.Exam pattern is not so easy,many students fail in exam . They have to give backlog exams in next semister
