Dislikes

- Sometimes classes go on till 6 in the evening, now during winters, its almost night by 6 so it kinda takes all of your day out of you.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very relative to the real world since we have to make several presentations and reports on the ongoing stuff in the world and hence only it makes a big difference in learning theoretical stuff and knowing more about the real world. We are also taught mostly from presentations rather than chalk board.
Placement Experience
SRCC offers exceptional placements, with students becoming eligible in the fifth semester. Top recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, McKinsey, BCG, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs. The highest package often exceeds INR 30 LPA, with an average around INR 9-10 LPA. Over 95% of students secure placements. Post-degree, I plan to leverage these opportunities or explore entrepreneurship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our yearly college fees is about 30,000 rupees. this includes almost all the cost that is there to it since our college is a under Delhi University. There are several scholarships you can apply for throughout the year, tho for General and Sc/sc/obc the fee is almost similar to each other with differences of about 200 rupees, but for pwd the fee is very less, almost about 90 rupees for the whole year.
Campus Life
Campus life at SRCC is vibrant, with events like Crossroads (annual fest in February) and BizStreet (technical fest in October). The library is well-stocked with extensive books and journals. Classrooms are tech-equipped with smart boards. Sports facilities are top-notch, supporting cricket, basketball, and more. Clubs like The Commerce Society and DebSoc are central to student life, offering growth, networking, and leadership opportunities.
Admission
I chose SRCC for its unmatched reputation in commerce, top rankings, and strong alumni network. other colleges I applied to were prestigious, SRCC's specialized focus in commerce made it stand out.
Faculty
The faculty members are very helping and up for discussion whenever you hit them up, they're always very helpful in nature so you never feel bad for reaching out to them. There is tutorial classes facility too where the class is distributed in parts of 20 for doubt solving sessions. There are many tests throughout the whole sem which include various continous learning tests and theoretical tests too.
