Course Curriculum Overview
My course is about Japnese Language and Literature. From my childhood I am enthusiastic about Anime. That's influenced me to take the course. Inspite of that, these type courses are unique in India. It's also helps a lot to get a job with high package now a days. That's the only reason I choose it. In 1 year i now can interact with Japanese people a little bit. Japan gives many scholarships to go to Japan to explore and learn new things. This helps to know about other religions, rituals, work process etc. Which helps in working life. Every year JLPT exam happened for the students of Japanese. It's a language proficiency test where there are 5 levels to clear. The levels are N5,N4,N3,N2 and N1. N5 is the easiest level and N1 is the hardest. If any one pass N2 then he/she is eligible to do jobs in Japan.
Internships Opportunities
A university called KIIT university offered summer internship with them for the students qualified N3 level. They promised to give certificate and stipend of 10000 rupees. Suchana NGO hired social worker with a qualification of N4. I just only passed N5 so I till didn't applied for any internship programme. Mainly the projects for the internship to work with students, to give guidance to the foreigners etc.
Placement Experience
In 3rd year students become eligible for the campus placement. This year 3 companies directly came to the campus and hired 3 peoples. And companies like Tata, Hitech Digital hired students through refferal. Almost all students of 3rd year got jobs this year. I first want to complete my graduation and then want to complete M.A. then I will search for jobs

Anandabazar is one of the best festivals of the University. It happens every year on the day of Mahalaya. In this festival students made something by their hands and then sell it in the Anandabazar. Then the profit is given to the association to spend it for the well being of poor people. Inspite of that every year exchange program happens between Indian and Japanese students happens in February. And also many festivals like Barshamangal, Rabindra jayanthi, Poush Mela are celebrated in a great manner. Biggest library of Japanese books is situated in our department. Every year inter departmental cricket happens in December January.
Admission
I just applied for Visva Bharati for the course. And I got admission here. I didn't applied for any other colleges because they don't offer my subject. And there is no university near me offering this language. So simply I just applied for Visva Bharati. After the result of CUET declared every student should registered themselves through the website of the University. Then they will publish a provisional merit list of the registered students in the basis of the number they got in CUET exam. So , to apply in Visva Bharati each student have to seat for CUET exam and score good marks. After the merit list, they conduct counselling through online meeting. They 1st verify the documents online and then again verify on the 1st class of the university. Expected cutoff to get admission in VB is 90 percentile.
Faculty
Faculty student ratio of Nippon Bhavana means Japanese department is approximately 1:20 . As i mentioned before the relation between teachers and students is too good. They are like our friends, family and philosopher. They always stand by us. I like almost every teacher of our department so it's a difficult choice to name a single one. But Arpita Sensei is personally my favorite. She always stand for the right things. She ,like her own child, scholds us and as well as also loves us. She always takes care of our studies. And also Sudip Sensei is too good. He is so friendly with the students. He is like a brother always help in tough times. And both of them clears our doubts whenever we need them. There is 2 internal papers in every paper between 2 semesters. And semester happens on every 6 months. The exams are not too hard but also not very easy to clear. These courses give us opportunity of internship and also to grab big opportunities in campus placement.
