I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

I didn't apply to any other colleges other than NITs,IIITs and GFTIs. I chose this college as it is a govt. College and NIT , which is itself a brand and it is affordable over others. I got admission in this college through JEE MAINS....Read More

I have also applied for computer engineering in Kashmir University. But I choose nit Srinagar as this is national level University. Exams are held at times . Admission process is pretty straight forward. You should have above 75 percent in your 12th class . Then you have to appear in jee mains exam . Percentile above 94 percentile will guarantee your seat if you are general and come from home state qouta .if you are are a girl there is reservation for you so can even get a seat on 85 percentile. If you come from other state qouta just add 2 to 3 percentile to above percentile. Most preferred courses are cse ,it , electrical, electronic and communication and mechanical as the placement for these branches are quite high...Read More

I choose this college due to tag of NIT which matters at most of the places . Hence this college is located in Srinagar so it provides best weather throughout the year. So I choose this college. Yes my percentile is low that's why I got rejected by many colleges . You have to clear JEE Mains with 93percentile minimum to get admission in NIT Srinagar. And the admission procedure are simple we only have to submit some documents online rest of the work is done by Academic incharge , and fees of semester should be paid at the starting of the semester....Read More

Admission Process is Smooth as you can get seat here only after qualifying the jee main and after that you have to verify your documents to get the admission. Cut off is not very much high for getting this college if yuo clear the jee main....Read More
