- The college campus is small, with less area for playground.

Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in robotics from the start, so thats the reason I took Instrumentation and Control. Every semester, students have 6 subjects, with a course project, presentation and group discussion for every subject. This prepares the student for real world applications and well as interviews. The dfficulty level of exams is medium to hard.
Internships Opportunities
Almost every company offers role under internships with stipend at VIT. Some of the dream companies are Microsoft, BlackRock, Deutsche Bank with a stipend of over 50k. Almost every dream company offers to students across all the departments with a few for a specific department only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees remains same till final year from first year onwards. Below is my fees structure for OPEN category: Tuition Fees: 162608 Development Fees: 24392 Eligibility Fees: 600 Exam Fees:2200 Miscellaneous University Fees: 3145 Total Fees: 192945
Campus Life
There are 3 major festivals in VIT. he first one is Vishwotsav which last for 3 days. Traditional day, Western/Rose day and Character/Mismatch day are the concepts for each of the day. Then we have our inter-department competition festival named Vishwakarandak which lasts for 5 days. Here departments compete against other departments in various technical and non-technical competitions. Third is our inter-college festival named Melange which also lasts for 5 days including technical and non-technical events.
Admission
I had applied for COEP, PICT, PVG, MMCOE and VIT. But my main 3 colleges were COEP, PICT and VIT. I was applying through my MHT-CET. COEPand PICT cut-offs were too high and hence I got into VIT. I had cnsidered VIT due to its curriculum and campus placement opportunities. The admission process of VIT is simple as the faculty guides you through the process and is done within a day.
Faculty
Faculty members are mostly doctorates or PhD graduates. The course structure is built for every branch. First year will me mixed with students from all branches studying together. Second year onwards the students will be divided into a class within their specified department. One semester from the second year as well will be common i.e. commom=n subjects for every branch and the other semester with core subjects according to their branch. Exam in VIT are easy. It is easy to get passed in VIT as the total marks of a subject are summed from written exam, viva, presentation, group discussion and course project.
Interview Experience
No, nothing was required for the admission. Admission is provided via merit. A candidate can either take admission thrug his/herJEE marks or MHT-CET marks.VIT is one of the reputed colleges in Pune and hence its cut-off for various departments is high.
