Admission
I considered this college as this was the best engineering college in maharashtra and was also considered as the top college for mechanical engineering. This college offers a strong alumni network, bright students, very good sports facilities and events as compared to other colleges. To apply for COEP, one would have to give MHT-CET exam or JEE exam.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is about 1:15 which is great. The faculty is easy to approach. Each semester there are about 5 to 6 subjects. Some subjects are really useful for students but there are also few subjects which do not hold that much significance. But in general the subjects can be easily cleared. There are 2 exams, mid semester and end semester.
Night Life
Favorite hangout spots are boat club canteen and meta canteen. There is a library and reading room as well. The library closes at around 7pm but students can sit in the reading rooms. Hostel closing timings are 9.30pm
