Course Curriculum Overview

The courses seem not too out of time but surely the curriculum can be a lot better . I am in first sem right now so I cannot really give a good opinion on this but what we are taught is relevant to us

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 182500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admitted through JEE so I have slightly more fees the fees is 1.8LPA for 4 years . There are various scholarships available for students of particualrccatefory and economic section also there is some earn and learn scheme by college

Campus Life

The south campus is beautiful with its lights in the evening our new academic complex is also modern with WiFi everywhere . The department buildings are a bit old but still good to go. Club activities are must for all students and my club (Debate and quiz ) is really fun to be in

Admission

I got admitted through JEE so I could have gone to NIT but I didn't want to leave my hometown so I'm here the best college is COEP that's my reason for choosing it also I could've got other good branches at PICT but this college seems more happening to me

Faculty

Faculty members are all good and most of them have been working there for more than 10 years For our batch the academic structure is the new CBCS(choice based credit system) in a semester 20 marks for internal exam 30 for mid sem and 50 for end sem which ultimately decides our GPA Apart from the compulsory 1 subject for our choosen branch other subjects can be choosen by student

Night Life

I live in the city so nightlife is not for me but I've seen hostellers have no complaints about their hostel food is good they have gym and WiFi access and good facilities . I think 4 people share one room

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Currenlty I am in the one of the best college in Maharashtra which u get on your cet marks also you can take the admission through jee marks while taking admission through the online mode of cet the top option i selected was coep and also the cet ranked it as top since the cut off for the cse of general category was 99.78 percentile i don't want to go into another college since i wanted a top college and top college coz my cet score was 99.84 so i applied for top 3 colleges of maharashtra coep,vjti and Walcand where i got the admission in coep in second round through tfws.
