COEP Technological University review

I have always been a keen interest in problem solving and electronics that is why I choose Electrical Engineering as My carrier. One thing i suggest is to focus more on practical knowledge rather than just teaching by ppt slides.

From 7th semester all are eligible for placement.And for Internship Third year students are eligible. Famous companies like Wells Fargo, Tata motors, schlumberger, Bajaj electricals, Godrej properties, Reliance industries,De shaw. Highest package is 52lpa and average package is 7lpa. In electrical engineering previous batch 94% students are placed. I will try for placement

The year- wise tuition fee for general category students is 125000 including all admission fee,lab fees, examination fees etc. And for St category students the tuition fee is 15000 . There is also fee concession for OBC/SC and PWD students. Scholarships are there for financial support to the students like the Mahadbt, the alumini association scholarships and many more

Fest like Impression (annual fest of COEP), Mindspark (technical fest), Zest (sports) , Gathering, PSF(pune startup fest) and many others fest are held in COEP. Mostly all the required books are available in library.

All facilities are available in the room like fans, cupboard, mirror, chairs, study tables etc. Four students are required to share one room. Meal quality is average and both Veg and non veg are served separately. Hostel is bit expensive like 45000 is the hostel fee plus you have to pay mess fee after every month depends on individuals eating routine.

I have applied for many other colleges like PICT,VJTI, VIT pune and many more. No I preferred COEP over the other colleges as COEP is the third oldest college in India and its alma mater is excellent, Also COEP is the best college in whole maharashtra that is why I choose COEP. Students have to sit for MHT-CET and cutoff is like 95 percentile above.

Faculties are very supportive and helpful.And mostly all the faculties are PHD holders. I can't name any faculty specifically but in My electrical department all facilities are very supportive and helpful. There are 2 exams in one semester mid sem and the end sem .mid sem is for 30 marks and 60 marks is for end sem remaining 10 marks is internal.

Gym is there in the hostel.And like the main gate is closed after 12pm at night. There is also a study room in boys hostel with a capacity of around 20 people. Pune is famous for ancient fords so you visit the nearby fords.
