My views about IIIT-Nagpur

many courses are outdated , and teachers do not give TA marks to those who have less ataendance in that courses. exams happen three times which takes a lot of time(Maybe this is going to change) . 1 pro thing is in the 4th year u can stay at ur home and only have to come for exams.

i dont know much about inturnships . but i know that the Training and placemnt cell helps everyone to get an inturnship. inturnship is a compulsary thing in our collage . it is like a subject and withought that u cannot complete the degree

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

TOTAL BREAKDOWN OF FEES :(for 1 Yr) tution fees is 198000 Other fees is 30300 One time deposit fee (to be paid only in first yr ) is :18000 THEREFORE : Total fess of first yr is 246300 in odd semister :123150 in even semister 123150 All the state scholarships are available

Our collage have lots of Clubs whcih include all clubs for extracurriculars and also for Esports . we also have technical clubs. all the clubs have their participations in major collage events . Classrooms are good they have proper aminites. Labs are well equiped with working equipments. sports club has not started yet but will be starting soon as Ground was not made till now. But we have Badminton, TT ,Basketball grounds ,ect.

I majorly selected this collage and VNIT(metalurgy course ) as a backup, i got ther ECE-Iot in last CSAB round . VNIT have lots of better featurs like grounds , Events which a a lot better than iiitN. i kept the ECE-Iot above VNIT metalurgy thats why i got it , and i didnt fill any other things which i could have got. Admision process is smooth , all the people there are helpful , we need to go to offline admision with all the docs.

Faculty to student ratio is good (1:17 or smth). there are a lot of faculties which are helpful and also know the subject well some of them are R.Ranjan sir , and Nelson sir . many teachers do not know their subject and are unable to check papers properly, like we need to explain our well written codes.

Night life is not that good . there is a night canteen in our collage . intime of hostel for boys is 9:30. u cannot go to the city at night as u will not get any public transport, u will have to book a cab .
