Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because the syllabus looked really good and covered a lot. But after joining, I saw it’s actually pretty tough. Just going to classes isn’t enough you really need to study on your own too. Some topics are useful for real-life stuff, but a lot still feels too theory-based. Exams happen every sem and they’re not easy at all. You need to properly understand things or it gets hard to manage.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in our branch are pretty decent, around 70–80% students get placed, and about 70% also manage to get internships. For CSE, the average package is somewhere between 10–12 LPA, and the highest went up to 90 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Zomato, Nvidia and a few more good ones have come for recruitment. Placement chances are growing too, since Nagpur is slowly turning into an IT hub.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year, the total fee adds up to 2,46,300. This includes 1,98,000 as tuition, 30,300 under other miscellaneous charges, and a one-time deposit of 18,000 (which is only paid in the first year). The total gets split equally between the two semesters, 1,23,150 for the odd semester and the same for the even.

Campus Life

3

Our college has a bunch of clubs from extracurricular ones to technical and even esports clubs. They all take part in major college events too. Classrooms are pretty decent and have all the basic stuff you need. Labs are also well-equipped and everything mostly works fine. The sports club hasn’t started yet since the main ground wasn’t ready, but we do have courts for badminton, TT, basketball, and a few others.

Admission

The admission process is the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains conducted annually as this was the best college i could opt for my further studies so i took with no delay and now here i am. Although the college is still developing but it has great potential for future growth.

Faculty

3

The faculty’s honestly a mix, a few are genuinely good and put in the effort, but yeah, some are just kinda there. You’ll figure out quickly who’s worth paying attention to. The curriculum? It’s packed. You can't survive just by showing up to lectures self-study is a must. Semester exams hit hard, and it’s like that for pretty much everyone. If you're not consistent, it piles up fast.

Night Life

2

Nightlife isn’t that great here. There’s a night canteen in the college, but that’s about it. Hostel in-time for boys is 9:30 PM, so you can’t really go out late. Plus, getting to the city at night is tough since there’s no public transport you’ll have to book a cab if you really need to go.

Other Applied Colleges

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.
