NIT RAIPUR -A OVERVIEW

I like the course curriculum very much and that curriculum make students to be forward on software engineering. The curriculum is highly related to the real world applications im software. The course should have some more classes to understand the concepts by every student. There will be exams for every 2 months in a semester one is mid sem exam an dother is endsem exam.Both are moderately difficult.

Internship opportunities are not very high as well as not very low they are moderate but less Students are picked up for intern. The companies thet offers internships are D.E.Shaw ,Deboy ,G.E.Health care and etc.

The placements are good in national institute of technology Raipur (NIT RAIPUR) .from 7 th semester onward students are eligible for the placements. The companies that offer placements for students are D.E.SHAH, DEBOY,PHONEPAY,ADOBE,G.E.HEALTH CARE etc.. There are between 80 to 95 persent of students in every branch are getting placements every year.

As i am a SC reservation candidate i don't have to pay much fee it's around 12000 for both semesters as tution fee.. And for general category candidates it will be around 72000 for both the semesters..And if the person from general category have a low income certificate then they will be applicable for consission in fee. There will be FFE scholarship and many scholorships are available for students which are around 60k for student who are selected.

The overall experience in the campus life is above average . Clubs are good and interaction among clubs abd students are good . The fests organised by the clubs are most celebrated things in the college for every student.some collge fests are ECLECTIKA, AVIRBHAV, SAMAR etc. There is a projector in every classroom for the students to have a visual understanding in every concept. Sports fest are organised on the college every year by the samar committee.Every other colleges also participate in those events. The are some student run social groups also there in the college but there are not seen in the lime light.

Hostel facility is not good in this college. There are only some seats are available for sthe students and the rest of them are suffering for lack of hostel facility and living in pgs. Food is not good . quality is good but taste is not good and quantity of non veg is less. Registration process is just simply applying an application. And the persons who have good cpi will be getting the hostel I am outside the hostel live in Amanaka near to my college around 500 meters

The course eligibility is that the student must have scored more than 65 % for SC/ST and more than 75% of marks in his/her 10th and 12th standards First of all, the student has to apply for the JEE Main exam from the NTA.NIC website. And as the instructions are given by the NTA.NIC, you can find the date of the conduct of the exam. Usually the JEE mains exam is conducted between the january and April months This JEE mains is purely based on the 11th and 12th standard syllabus. After the results, the student has to apply for the JOSSA counseling; as the rounds are going, the student may get an allocation in a college. If you freeze that college then it will allocate you in that college Then there will be a physical registration of the course in the student's allocated college. There you have to take your documents The reservation benefits are SC and ST don't have any tuition fees. The tuition for other castes is depends on their annual income CSAB students should have more time for reporting

There is a good relationship among students and faculty.They provide good assistance to studens and guide them to get good placements. I like Dr.N.K.Bharadwaj sir very much,he is an assistant professor and thaught us adavanced data structures..He is very keen about the concept and make every student good about that. There is no faculty to hate or dislike all are good woth every student . There will be 6 or 5 subjects for every semester with two labs . Some students fails to clear those due to lack of concentration among those subjects.
