Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I am a commerce student in 12 the class so I wanted to expand my knowledge of accounts so chose the bcom course as it teaches you about finance and marketing. The curriculum teaches a lot about the practical world as it contains subjects like international marketing, accounting, and economics. They can incly more practical project related to making plans and financial planning, etc. The exams are generally conducted in the months or Jan and July. The exams are of medium level.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college does provide scholarship after the announcement of 1 year result. The students in need of a scholarship first have to fill out the form with the required details and information and then in basis of marks obtained in 1 year the scholarship is provided. The scholarship ranges differ for different students as per marks and on the basis of quota also.

Campus Life

The college provides various society like acting, dance, debating, singing, etc. I have been a part of the debate society as I like public speaking and want to pursue it. Our college has a huge library which provides a lot of books on various subjects by different authors free of cost. You can keep the books for upto 10 days and then you have to pay the late fees.

Admission

I basically took the cuet exam and after the declare of results. The students need to fill out the preferences list form from the highest preferred college to the lowest preferred college. Then on the basis of marks and preference of the college, the students are given a college one college is allotted in in list out. The students who are satisfied in the first round can accept and can pay the fees. The students who want to go for 2nd round need to reject and wait wo the 2nd round. No, I haven't applied for any other universities of colleges as I want to be a part of Delhi University only.

Faculty

The teaching staff is very good. Specially the teachers of practical subjects know how to even teach the difficult subject with so much of easiness so a student can learn effectively. There are basically 7 exam till 4 semester in which 3 are core papaers and others are ge, sec, vac and aecc. In 5 and 6 semester the total subject is 6 in which there are 4 core paper and the rest two are ge and sec. Students generally fail in account exam as it is hard to crack and some of the other coumputer or ge vac exam as they forgot to give practicals. The students who don't give practicals are get failed in the exam and have to wait the exam in next to next exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
