Course Curriculum Overview

4

i was preparing for NEET entrance exam so i thought botany would be perfect for my preparation. to be honest in real life botany did not helped at all because it is a science subjest with it only you can become a researcher or a teacher and a proffesor. frequency is like the actual duration os a semester is 6 months but university will finish it in 4 to 5 months

Internships Opportunities

5

I joined an NGO (THE AARAMBH ORGANIZATION) it was social work and I was a graphic designer and video editor there it was an unpaid internship. The next I joined the carrier360 but I left in the middle due to my classes and all other stuff.

Placement Experience

4.5

from 5th and 6th semester studets are eligible for campus placements companies like gredrej, hitachi and other MNCs visited and made numurous offers i do not actual number highest package offered in my 3rd year was 22LPA amd average is 12LPA it depents how many studets have applied for in campus placements this year percentage was 70% to 80% students got placements from total applied studets i have completed my degree and preparing for a govt. job

Fees and Financial Aid

During my admission, I paid 14990 rupees which included security charges and for my 2nd and 3rd years, I paid 12110 each year. registration fee for sc category 100 admission fee 14990 lab fee i guess 1000 security which got refunded after completion of my degree was 1000 for my other batchmates college fee was 100 more than me also, you have to pay an examination fee each semester which is around 1200 for science students because we have practicals so 400 per subject is charged (it is same for all categories) there are many scholarships and financial aids like fee concession in which they provide 2000-7000 to the students whose family total income is below 8 lacs also they took intervies for this.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest of Kirori Mal College is Renaissance and it is held once a year There are more than 60000 books in the library that are available to students Every class is equipped with projectors and every lab has AC. There are many clubs like BHOOMI-THE ECO CLUB, PLAYERS-THE THEATER SOCIETY, DEBSOC-THE DEBATING SOCIETY, MUSOC-THE MUSIC SOCIETY, etc. These societies help in many ways like character development, communication, leadership skills, singing, dancing, acting, social work, etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel rooms were great they provided two beds, 1 bed, and 3 bedrooms in which alamiras, study tables, fans, and beds were provided. The hostel meals were my favorite they provided 3-time meals for breakfast eggs, milk, tea, omelets parathas depending on the day. For lunch rice, daal, and veggies, and for dinner they provided nonveg and veg both after dinner 1 sweet or ice cream.

Admission

I did not apply for any other college in my time admissions were on 12th marks basis so I targeted for kmc and in 1st round of counseling I got admission to kmc I took admission to this college because it is well reputed college so many famous celebrities are alumni of this college and it ranks in the top 10 colleges of DU and it has an A++ NAAC ranking

Faculty

4.5

The Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 and the faculty is very easy to approach this is especially in the Botany Department Because humanities have far more students than us but still their faculty is also easy to approach. Dr. Sunil Dheeman sir was my favorite because he was so humble and always cared about students. There are 6 semesters so there are 6 theory exams and 6 practical exams. Hardly 1 or 2 students fail.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
