An insider on Gargi College

I applied for Delhi University and Jawaharlal University for an undergraduate degree. I give the CUET examination to get admission in college, I scored 713/800 from general catego6and got Gargi in my first allotment, I was really happy because I was aiming for this college as the faculty of english is so nice here. I didn't went to some other College because it has been a dream to be a part of DU circuit for a long time. The admission process was quite easy, we got forms out and we had to make a preference list according to the Colleges and courses desired for. I did apply to almost every college in du..including the off campus nd i think everyone should apply to every colleges...in my first round i got Dayal singh morning college which is a south campus college...but i did heard that it's maybe nkt so safe nd is known for a lot of politics which i know most of the du colleges are but still i had 2 more rounds so i went for an upgrade and in the 2nd round i got gargi which was a girl's college which was my priority nd it was near my home..for my college you have to give CUET...Read More

Admissions process of DU is good till CUET, the counselling round are actually quite hectic as within minutes we have to decide and lock the college. In January the forms for CUET are out and we all have to fill them, whoever wants admission in DU. It's really sad that cut-off for reserved students is 610-620 while for general category students like me has to score in access of 765 to get admission for any courses in Gargi. I had that score and therefore I got admissions here and could get to my first choice college LSR....Read More

I choose this college because this is one of the good colleges of Delhi University because the society culture here is commendable helps to us to have experience in different field including marketing, finance, HR , or if you are in dramatics or dance you will go to next level if you work hard there were other colleges in my prefernce above Gargi college but I didn't clear the cutt-off of that so I was alloted this college. My first preference was Shri Ram College of Commerce Asia's top commerce college and followed by Hansraj, Hindu, Kirorimal, Ramjas Venkateshwara the cutt-off for these colleges arr very high my score was not upto the mark to get admission in these colleges where I went erong was my overconfidence thinking that I have completed my course and I know everything and here I was wrong if the person is giving CUET he/she should be doing the practice of OMR sheets as you cannot change your answers because if yoj gibe movk test in CBT mode not practicing in OMR it may lead to lack of speed in exams and If you know the correct answers stills yoj might tick the wrong one so it is very important to complete your syllabus , revise and practice in OMRs....Read More

This college has good reputation and also famous for its studies. I didn't apply for any other colleges, this college or this university was my first and last preference. The eligibility of CUET is to score 55% in the 12th boards. The cut off for this course is too high but the syllabus is easy you only have to study the syllabus of your 12th class...Read More
