Course Curriculum Overview

4

Bachelor's of Elementary Education is a comprehensive 4-year professional degree in teaching and Education. This course helps in boosting confidence and prepares us to face real-world problems. Exams are conducted annually.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I opted for a free certification course in public speaking and few internships in field of education and other crowdfunding opportunities that have helped me grow my personality as a college student. For our course the no. of internships are'nt much.

Placement Experience

4

The placement cell of Gargi College is said to be one of the biggest placement cells. It offers a plethora of opportunities to students of all courses. Many renowned companies come to the college to hire students right after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for my course is 18,500 annually (one-time payment), but it keeps increasing. This includes the tuition fee, library fee, etc. For reserved categories, fees can start from as low as Rupees 20.

Campus Life

4.5

My overall college experience has been a holistic one. Different fests and competitions keep the fun maintained along with the academics. The college library has many books related to the courses offered in college.

Admission

Earlier admission to this course was through a separate entrance exam. But now the admission is done through the CUET Exam. The syllabus for this exam is very general. Maths, Science, Hindi and English upto 10th class.

Faculty

4

The faculty members at the college are highly experienced. The teacher-student ratio in the classroom for my course is approximately 1 teacher for 50 students. Professors are highly approachable and friendly with the students.

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.
