College review

The name of my course is Instrumentation Engineering. I wanted to pursue electrical engineering, however, I did not get my desired branch. Instrumentation engineering offers a broad scope in industries like manufacturing, automation, and process control. Some areas of improvement will be integration with Iot and AI,advanced sensor technology The exams are of moderate difficulty are there are 2 exams per semester.

The year-wise fee is Rs 66200. The hostel fee is 5000 for the semester. There are 2 semesters so the hostel fee is Rs 10000. The semester fee is Rs 21500 and the mess fee is Rs 6600. However, there are different castes of students in our college. The SC's and STs have to pay less the the generals and the OBCs. Their fee is Rs 11500 for the semester. There are scholarships upto Rs 50000 which very few students receive.

The annual cultural festival is Estacy, and the technical festival is Techracy. The central library is the biggest library in the entire northeast region which is something to be proud of. There is a wide range of books available in the library. The faculties are really good. There are sports like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc.

The eligibility of the course is 12+2 as well as 10+ The application form can be found on the official website of the college. There is a reservation system in the college. The BTR region gets about 30 % of seats. The north east people get around 50% seats and the rest of India gets 20 %. The exams are held twice in a single semester. The difficulty is moderate level. The college should take more students from JEE and it should remove the reservation system.

The faculties are really great.They are highly qualified and they teach very good. Most of the faculties are from various parts of India. Few live in Assam. They are mostly GATE qualified. Most of the professors have completed their Masters from abroad. They also interact with the students well.
