Course Curriculum Overview

4

When it's upto the course. I was seduced to take a course and i was from a science field hence i don't know anything about computer. But my dad got me into BCA and i got my tranfer from there to BSc Pychology, which seems to be more intresting to me far better than the computer application. First it was a bit hard to cover-up all the topics, but if we could understand the theories then it'll be so cool to study it. When talk about exams, we don't have a proper break after one exam. After 2 to 3 months semester exams are done. It'll be really hard to cover-up the topics if it is done such a way.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

For our department the intership is said for 15 days. Teachers on our department have been so supportive for it. No specific time is given for the internship, we may take the vacation (Onam vacation )time to use it.

Fees and Financial Aid

During the time of admission the administrative officer have promised us about campus selections and all. But I've studied 2 years there no selections were occurred there in knowledge. Fees are mostly affordable and reductions are given to ones who really need it.

Campus Life

4.5

We've great football coach for those who are willing to play football. Cricket is also played at our college. We've won some of the inter College sports meet. Entrepreneurship is the other thing the management have offered, if one have a good startup plan the management is ready to take him/her to their destiny.

Admission

Ofcourse the eligibility. The administrative officer have warned me that with these marks your couldn't get into a psychological field. Then i promised him that no arrears will be made by me and i ensure it till this day.

Faculty

4.5

As i said earlier every teachers in our department resign from this college because of the management. The teacher student bond is not an easy thing, it'll take time. Since most of them got resigned from here we can't make bond. They got resigned when we just created a well bond. And its really hard to take another teacher as your new one. Its so difficult to understand their lectures though.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
