College management is ok however they need to improve regularly with the changing demands of the industry and modify amenities accordingly.

The courses r very good. Really good. You can expect placements in your core areas rather than in IT companies. It's just that you need to concentrate as you are doing Engineering. Just respect that thing. All courses are industry oriented and fun to learn with classes, lab sessions and practicals in labs.

Internship is mandatory in all the courses. Internships are organised generally by the college itself. This helps students to understand how the industry works in India. There are few international internships as well generally offered only to the topper students of the respective courses.

Placements are very good. Core area companies come in and pick the students. The packages are also ok. Few branches have very good placements as well with high packages. Even the students who haven't scored well in exams also gets good placements in core companies.

Lots of events are planned throughout the year. There are couple of cultural events which are done in the year. Then there are various international groups under which various competitions are held in all the branches across the college. Overall it keeps you engaged throughout the year.

I feel that fee structure is expensive. However it justifies to the level of facilities, labs, educational level, professors, new developments and various personal grooming sessions are held within the campus. Benefit is that you get to work with good companies later.

Yes scholarship is available for meritious students every year. Also there is a fee reduction for domicile student of Uttarakhand. Loans are easily available form all state and private banks.

All of the above are very good. Campus is right below the mountains. Gender ratio is very good. It's a mix of young girls and boys. All sports are easily available including jym. All these competitions are available and are really well planned. Overall it good.

I was not a hostelite. However the feedback I have received is that the good is average. The rooms are good but needs to be maintained by the students. I think there are various sharing rooms available. Apart from this UPES also has tie up with other hostels in Dehradun.

I haven't had much of interaction with aluminium seniors. However by being connected to Facebook I know that they are working with reputed companies across the globe.

Lots and lots of practical training is provided via. the means of labs. We need to give presentation for the project which are accounted for marks. Also regular assignments are given to assess students regular learning process. They are also counted for marks. Then comes the mid semester and end semester exams as well.

Apply for UPESEAT exam. They will conduct entrance exam after class XII. Also give IIT entrance exams. In my time aieee score was also accepted in place of UPESEAT. For sure you need to apply. No direct admissions were allowed. Counselling will be done and your 10th and 12th class marks along with entrance exam marks and aieee were computed together. Interview will be done by the committee and then you will be offered a particular course.

The faculty understands the subjects very well. They teach via. presentations, continous assignments, problem solving sessions, labs etc. The exams are conducted according to what the professors have taught in the classes. Overall it's a fair examination that is conducted.
