CMRIT's college review

I had appeared for the COMEDK exam. If your rank is approximately 10,000, you can get Computer Science and Engineering (CSC). If your rank is between 13,000 and 14,000, you can get Information Science and Technology. If your rank is approximately 18,000, you can get a lower branch at CMRIT. For admission, you will need documents such as your 10th and 12th mark sheets, photo, TC, and migration certificate. The process is very simple. First, you need to submit the fees, and then you will receive your college ID card.

I am a student of Information Science in CMRIT college. There are around 5 to 6 branches in the college, such as CSC, ISE, EEE, Civil, Mechanical, etc. The scheme for my course is based on the 2018 pattern. In this scheme, there are 3 Internal Assessment Tests (IAT) worth 50 marks each. These three tests are averaged to obtain a total of 30 marks. Additionally, there is a 10-mark assignment. Admission is taken in CMRIT in three ways: KCET, COMEDK, and management quota. The fee for KCET is approximately 90,000 rupees and they also receive a scholarship, although I don't know how much it is. The fee for COMEDK is 240,000 rupees and I think it is 600,000 rupees for management quota in the CSE branch. They also charge an exam fee of 1,620 rupees per semester by VTU.

CMRIT College is located on 8 acres of land. It is not a very big college, but the infrastructure is very good. In the middle of the college, there is a very large ground. The college has a gym, a basketball ground, a volleyball ground, a badminton ground, and many clubs such as music club, dance club, coding club, comedy club, etc. Inside the college, there are separate hostels for girls and boys.

There are some teachers who are very good and some teachers who are not that good and have done PhD. Some teachers are very supportive, while some teachers don't even listen.I am a student of Information Science. Most of the teachers in this field have completed their PhD. The Head of the Department (HOD) of Information Science is very good, but she resigned at the last moment.
