Decent but need improvement

College is not bad. If you lack options one has to go with it. Though 69% manages to get placed. Improvement is on the way but it with need a couple of more years to come. Colleges have managed to maintain discipline within the institute. Which sometimes suffocates the students.

WBJEE 22999 I opted for this college because it was recommended by my seniors and friends. The computer was always in my blood hence I preferred it over others.

B.tech is a course for every student aspiring to get into the technical field. Syllabus for such courses is apt. But one needs to study thoroughly to get in-depth knowledge. The course offers practical as well as theoretical knowledge.

College doesn't provide any internship. Though it can help us in getting one in third-party institutes. The stipend could be anything between 5-6 k.

Placement is decent enough About 69 % has been placed. With few MNC as well. Though numbers are not attracting opportunity is available. Capgemini, Amazon, Tavant, Genpact, Innoraft, etc are a few names to take that take active participation in the campus.

Many events are organized throughout the year. Most celebrated is the college cultural and tech fest Verve. It is the most awaited event of the year. Few of the bands who performed here are Fossils, Underground Authority, Aliens and many more. Fashion show, solo singing are few of the events that are in the fest.

Yes, this is a good thing about the college. The scholarship is provided to merit students in TFW. Apart from this minorities get a scholarship from Bengal government.

For CSE department you can say there is fifty-fifty ratio. For other departments, it can be probably less. Diversity is in abundance

Basically, alumni are not present. Though they are planning to make an alumni community which would include a view of the respected pass outs.

Each semester we need to give 3 exams. Two internal and one final. Scoring marks are not so difficult. Internal marks are reflected in your final exam marks. The exam consists of theory as well as practicals. To qualify one need to pass both exams. Supply is given to failed students.

Took WBJEE EXAM and scored a decent rank. Thereafter just follow the procedure for counseling. First, it's needed to fill the college preference in increasing order. Second in 3 order counseling process is executed. Thereafter visit the college at a provided date with all the documents.
