Remarks

Everything is good except the placement and I think they should have more practical opportunities for the student so that they can have the view how to work in a practical manner.

Entrance Preview

The reason I opt for this college because one of my cousin brother referred me for this college. He was the former student of this college so he told me that this college is good for the student and there is no such pressure and unions are helpful as well. So I opt for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

While picking the application form they provide us with the prospectus, where all the information was written so that really helps me to understand the course curriculum. And also the union and the teachers also explain this in a session during the time of admission.

Internships Opportunities

No, they don't provide any internship but they do arrange placement before the third year final exam. The companies during my time comes on was concentric and Wipro.

Placement Experience

2.5

This is the one area they should try to improve on because during my time there was only two companies comes for placement and as well as they are not hiring for the domain of the course. And I really think they should try to improve that and bring some more companies and also bring companies who hired regarding to the domain rather than the back office.

College Events

4.5

There was so many events happened in every year like Freshers party, blood donation camp, puja celebration, sport day and many more and they made mandatory to participate in those events for the student and if you does well then you will get the recognition from the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I can say a little expensive, compare to other colleges. I had to pay 4500 every year plus the registration fees with Calcutta university were other colleges used to take during my time was 3500 and as well as if you pay by bank or card then you have to pay 90rs extra. So this is little expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No they don't provide any scholarship or loan facility from the college. Though you can apply for the fees concession if your family income is less.

Campus Life

4

I can say average regarding the campus life and extracurricular activity. Though they always arrange sports activity every year. And all the student have the opportunity to participate on that event. Labs are really less. And there is very less opportunity to have the practical view of our course. In our college there was only male regarding the gender ratio.

Hostel Facilities

3

I never stayed at hostel of the school and as well as the mess so I can't comment regarding that. But I heard from my friend that it is average. Because in a small room you have to stay with 4 students. And the food quality was good during my time what I heard from friends.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes all the senior student and unions were really helpful. They always guide us if we face any problem.

Exam Structure

During my time there was 6 exam during an 3 year course. 3 test exam and 3 final exam. The exams are scheduled for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year. During the first year the total subject was 8. During the second year total subject was 4 and during the third year the total subject was 5. And total marks you have to get in order to get an honours degree is 360 during the second and 3rd year. If you don't get 360 then you will get an pass certificate. You have to get 140 in the second year in order to continue with the honours course.

Admission

At first, I had to pick the application form from the college and filled up the brothers with the help of a union. And go through the admission process which takes two days. But it's too because their union are really helpful and help me in the complete process of filling up the form to submitting the form. And pay the admission fees and that's done.

Faculty

5

I can say that all the faculties are good. They always guide the student if they faced any problem from the start of education to the projects. During the second year, I have been given it project and the faculties over there help me to understand how to made a project. And as well on the third year during the accounts project as well. they have a really different technique to teach the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..
