Course Curriculum Overview

I first thought of doing BBA but when I came to know about the B.Com changeed my decision and applied for both hons and general but I got qualified only for general but I am doing that because commerce department of this college is very good.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a government regulated college the overall fees is very minimal which is 18k for full course. College also provides government scholarship amounting to 36k for full course. No college will provide this much facilities with this fees.

Campus Life

4.5

Both farewell and freshers are organised by union. Sports meet is also held and there a huge numbers of events as well as participants. Library is also well maintained and huge number of books are also available. College also have gym and other indoor games.

Admission

After opening of admission portal we have to apply and the cutoff is nearly 80% and which goes high for hons candidates. After we got selected for admission we have to go to college for documents verification and admission will be done

Faculty

Faculty members are very good and they are very much cooperative. Their way of teaching is also good and the notes they provide help us a lot. They always keep themselves updated and provide huge examples for a topics which makes learning easier for us.

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college. A Glimpse of Jaipuria
