The aspects of the college that I appreciate is first of all behaviour of each and everyone and good environment inside campus.
Large campus with playgrounds and all required facilities
Faculties are experts with no doubts, Teaching methods are futuristic and great mentorship.

Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is because Mechanical Engineer's develop the world for better future in every moving and tech devices and machinery.We all are getting well trained for real world applications or further academic pursuits.Must focus on upcoming new Ev Projects with new ideas to save the planet.The frequency and timing of the exams are more than enough and perspective to difficulty level is not too easy nor too tough.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee doesn't increase like that.While admission the fee structure is set and accordingly one have to pay the same for the whole course period.The complete cost of my education including tution service fees and other compulsory charges is 2Lkh.College offers scholarship to eligible students.Campus employment is good.

Campus Life

Overall experience with campus life focusing on social aspects,club involvement and infrastructure provided is absolutely fantastic.Every year college organizes Technical fest, Cultural Fest, Freshers entry party. Wide Range of books and journals available in the library.Each and every classroom has 2 Ac's and 1 Hd projector for better teaching.Annual sports gets organized by college like cricket,carrom, basketball, Table tennis,etc.

Admission

Eligibility of course is One can take lateral admission after completing diploma on same trade. After completing 12th class one have to crack entrance exam then eligibility get's fulfilled Resevation benefits may be available.

Faculty

The faculty-to-the student ratio is well balanced and there is no such big or bad impact on learning experiences.The faculty's credentials and their approach to teaching and mentorship is absolutely fantastic.We often get chance to interact with teachers and we do.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Svist review

I have applied in du, gnit and got confirmed seats in du but due to family reasons I didn't make it in du. And in gnit i didn't got a seat in cse department as it was full but it was offering me aiml. Then there was svist which was closed to my house and was providing the course. I haven't scored enough marks to get in nit jadabpur they were offering civil engineering. Admission process was quite easy in this college you just have to pass through counseling....Read More

I also applied GNIT ( GURU NANAK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY), but I did not took there admission due to study quality, fees.
