The college was pretty good in the aspects of studies and also in the aspect of infrastructure.
My engagement was quite good with everybody because, i believe in helping nature and all the staffs and faculty are very supportive in this aspect
The faculty of the college was more qualified and supportive in our academics. Professor are good and give further guidance for our future.

Dislikes

Some times senior professors was not supportive

Course Curriculum Overview

Because in the department of botany our college got 1st rank in all over India. And also botany is the core branch of any biology courses which belongs from plant biology. The frequency of exams was approximately 3 months in a semester. And level of examination was moderate which is pretty good for students.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the courses of honors subjects in science department the fee was :26000/- for 1 year . And it varies time to time or year to year. There's no specific or dedicated scholarship for students who is financially weaker. And also there is scholorship but it amount was not that much, who covers a year fee of college.

Campus Life

The overall experience of the campus was good because we got good exposure here. Because diverse courses and also students from all over india get admission in it after cuet. And there is a annual cultural fest whose name was CONFLUENCE???? This yr (2024) in the cultural fest the main star ? was Akhil Sachdeva. Which was fantastic fest ever held in the past 4 yr decades. There is many actively societies here of all the department which you want.

Admission

The admission process was through CACS portal and which is basically consider the CUET entrance exam. You can got admission on the basis of marks in CUET. And i think this is good and fare for all. Because in past decades there no option other than boards marks to get admission in this college. But after it was pretty good????

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester student are eligible to sit for campus placement . The placement cell of Sri Venkateswara College is good and brings some big names like big 4 for placement The highest package was around 24+LPA and average is around 7-8 LPA for a variety of courses . I plan to start working after my degree and have plans to pursue masters after some work experience

Hansraj College: A 3 Dimensional Review

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. 7The college that I'm currently studying in is the best for my course. It had always been on my top preference. The NIRF Ranking of Hansraj college is 3, which the other two colleges not offering my course. So Hansraj had always been my first preference. I had applied in other colleges as well which had a lower preference, however i got my first preference in the first round of counselling so i did not really get a rejection from other colleges. The reason is kept Hansraj on my first preference was it's NIRF ranking over the years compared to the other colleges offering the same course. The admission process is quite simple. First of all, you have to write the CUET exam, following which apply in DU via the CSAS portal. After that the university allots you a college based on your course and college preference that you have to submit. So it is very important that you make the preference list wisely in order to get a good college in addition to scoring good in the CUET exam. The cut off for certain courses like economics, bcom and physics are quite high but for other courses they are pretty much achievable....Read More
