Amazing experience at somaiya

Basically due to online lectures, honestly I couldn't focus much on all the subjects but yes definitely my last year was amazing, all the aspects of the curriculum really helped me alot to reach my goal. There were many projects and ppts that we made, with which we got the real world experience. I feel course curriculum was amazing, but need to change some teacher's teaching methods as they really make it boring of an interesting subject. Ofcourse the difficultly level was high but ya I made it to cope up with that.

Tuition fee increase policy is just not cool increasing every year, the college needs to decide a specific timing where they can increase it. The cost for my education was very high and despite of covid they did not gave any type of refund or there was no reduce in salary. Scholarships are available and you can opt for that.

There are many fests that are held in somaiya and I would rate 10/10 for festivals being organised. I feel mostly all the books are available in the library and we can access it easily. No facilities in classroom, there were no air conditioners available despite taking so much fees. Extracurricular activities are overall good.

I got the admission easily and I did not think the cut off was much high. All the details regarding the application are available on somiaya website which is available on Google. I got addmission through Gujarati minorty which was a plus point for me. Admission process is smooth.

The faculty was good but not all the teachers were impressive, some of them were very rude. Teaching and mentorship was something that we didn't experience much because our 2 years were completely online. When the offline lectures started, at that time I began to interact with teachers but was not comfortable with all, overall the experience was good with all.
