Remarks

The management was not that good and considerate about the students from different perspectives like fees, attendance. Otherwise the college is good with nice placement.

Entrance Preview

HSC board percent cut off got me into this college because it is one of the most reputed college in pune.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was full of fun and educative learning wise, Sports wise, Cultural activities wise. Got exposed to other events through all the years and got good placement as well.

Internships Opportunities

I never had this opportunity to explore. But as it is given to other branches for mechanical and all I think it is nice and they get good stipend. But not for my course.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are really good here. During my year when I passed out things were in good shape, market was good. All students had got a placement.

College Events

We celebrated lot of events, like coding event, dance event, singing event. So overall there were cultural and educative events that took place in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I felt that the fee structure was quite expensive here. Students coming from middle class would find it difficult to afford and manage his education. Rest all is fine

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any scholarship that the college provided. But one should provide for students who find it difficult to manage to get the fees filled.

Campus Life

There were a lot of extra curricular activities happening in the college. The cultural activities to the sports activities and the coding competitions. All were nice.

Hostel Facilities

I never had the opportunity to get into the hostel facility nor did I experience the mess food here. But the locality was such that students found good accomodation.

Alumni/Alumna

We had formed a group by our own to stay connected with each other. It was the yahoo group that was formed at that point of time. We are still connected that ways.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was based on the pune university board. There was nothing different or unique out of the board. Just that the Practicals were good.

Faculty

The faculty was nice, but not as good as I was expecting it to be. They taught us good, but certain lectures were not as good as it was expected to be.

After 3rd year students are eligible to apply for on campus internships and in 4th year 6 month internship is compulsory. Talking about placements generally 3rd or 4th year students can apply for on campus placements. For companies you can the college website about companies, percentage placement, highest package, average package, median package, lowest package, etc. Also there are various options such as Mtech, MBA or abroad studies.

Except for VIT, Pune, I had applied to colleges like PCCOE, PICT and etc colleges located in Pune itself. My JEE rank was around 77000 or 91.12 percentile and my CET percentile was 96.4, so I couldnt get into PICT. Even if i wanetd to get into PICT, i was getting the EnTC branch, which i didnt want. The admission process included firstly of CAP round followed by SPOT round. The cutoff for various branches depends on the CET and JEE Merit rank/percentile that you have got and on the basis of that youll get the branches in CAP or SPOT round....Read More
