mainly i have no dislike for this college
and food of some hostels is very good but for some other it has okay okay food
but its hostel has no ac and cooler facility

college curriculum is also okay okay i mean their are somes issues in subjects like we studied the subjects which r not for our branch in 1st year and thier also have some sequence issues in subjects.

Internships Opportunities

in my colege thier are many internship appourtunities i am in 1 yr and i got and oppourtinity through my senior for 3 months web dev internship so nitj has good intership oppurtunity. and have separted cell for it.

Placement Experience

campus placement is good they have good placement cell and thier are many activities for student for thier placement and havingoverall good placement like for cse it is to be 19lakhs per annum average.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees for general students are full (i.e. is 85000 aprrox) and for students with under 1 lakh income their have no tution fees and student below 5 lakh income have only 1/3 of thier tution fees and college also introduces some more scholarship programs

Campus Life

yes i have good campus life nitj campus is full of greenery and is a cleaned campus and having many social acticites and function and having many clubs for social actiticites and club are very good and have good funds.

Hostel Facilities

hostels are good and BH1 hostel for boys is one of the best hostel of all nits and hostel charges are nominal charges and food is clean and having good qualoty and also having many serecives for thier food

Admission

admission is through josaa and csab counselling and the addmission test is jee mains . and it only process for admission and cutoff for cse in genreal category is something to be 13000crl and for any branch for general 50000 cr rank.

its faculty to student ratio is okay okay it faculties are good and well educated and their are always active for students and they also provide mentorship for students for their well being so overall faculty is good

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
