Brief review of P.G.D.A.V College

My course was bcom honours and if i tell you i have seen that almost all the Colleges of du are good for bcom. And because i have interest in commerce since school so i pursue this course. Teaching method of the college can be improved by focusing more on practical way to teach rather than just theory. Classes can be made more interactive by involving each and every student. The exam timing are good and one cannot have any problem if they are in Delhi ncr. The timings are 9am to 12(morning shift).

The internship are slso available to the students after the College. To gain the knowledge and the experience. Various companies such as zomato and lenskart come and offer students. The paid and unpaid internship both are available. The internship i think i best to have experience.

The students can sit in placement after 5th semester. But to have higher chances if getting placed you must have cgpa more than 7. Many companies visit the college such as zomato, lenskart, etc. Highest package is approx 23 lakh p.a. and average is 5.6 lakh p.a. According to my knowledge 50 to 60 percent students get placed. After i got my degree i am looking to do mba.

The yearly fee of my course was 15500 in 1st year. 14500 in 2nd year and approx 14300 in last year. And the semester exam fee was not more than 1200. The placements are good . But one needs to study and must hsve cgpa above 7 to have placed. And various internship also available.

The du is known for its campus life . The are various fests taking olace throughout the year and a big fest once in a year in which celebrity and singers perform . The best life you can live as a student. Various society and clubs to improve oneself and social engagement. And the sports faculty was not goid but the sports facilities are very good and the bug cricket ground is also there.

The all the admission process is online. One can go to du official website and fill it. The price of form will be 400 to 750 according to category you belong. The cutoff for my college was 96.5 for general category at my time . It may have changed now. The reservation benefits are also available. If you belong to sc,st and obc your cutoff will be low as compared to the general category. Rest the exam timing are good.

Teachers are helping except very few teachers. They are frank with students. No need for coaching if u pay full attention to the class. Staff and principal is also good and the accounting teachers are the best there.
