What Students Say

Likes

You will meet lots of different people in Hostel with different personalities. You will enjoy hostel life
Different Student clubs helps people with similar interest to pursue their interest.
As the capacity of a class is less, Teachers can focus more on a individual student.

Dislikes

As the campus is very small, it feels too crowded for introverts
Unrealistic expectations from Dean academics as well as some teachers

Course Curriculum Overview

In Information Science Department, courses are added and removed based on the scheme and a particular teacher will handle it. Usually the courses are up to date including the latest technologies like NLP, AIML , Information Retreival etc. We also have electives (global as well as local)to help pursue our interests.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is around 1 lakh for a KCET student and around 2Lakh for a COMEDK student. For management its around 45 lakhs for 4 years. College offers various scholarship. There is a scholarship section where you can clear your doubts.

Campus Life

There are lots of student clubs, based on different interests. I was a part of an Astrography club called Dhruva, It was one of the best decisions i have made in my life. The college supports lots of co-curricular activities including sports.

Admission

The admission process was smooth since I was a KCET student who got into ISE in the first round itself, there were not many people who were on the campus. I had an SNQ quota, so my fees were around 40K. 3 CIEs are conducted every year.

Faculty

The teachers are really nice here, especially in my department. They are very friendly and helpful. Your counselors literally treat you like their own kids. Some teachers teach really well, and it shows why they are qualified to do so. But then again there are some teachers who have no idea about the subject they are teaching

Placement Experience:

The placement in colleges was good but the salary for the core job work was very less, maxing at 23000 at max, but the pay for other job roles was much higher, so getting a job from college was not difficult

From first sem to 8 sem it has various subjects, in 1 st sem there is various branch subjects that's are some are my favourite and some are tough for me but after that in 2 and 3 year all the subjects related to my course are so gud and some are problematic subjects even I selected some problematic subjects in open elective all are so gud understanding.

Placement is good, every student who tries to get placement will surely be placed in campus placements, but off campus would be difficult as this cllg is a tier-3 cllg, so many companies reject in resume shortlisting. Maximum every CSE student will get placed but max of them would get placed at an offer of 3.5 or 4.5lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Admission happens through ComedK and kcet exams. I took admission through ComedK and my rank was 1873. My course cutoff was around 3000.
