Mathematics department's faculty is really exceptional and equally supportive.
Numerous societies to help you participate and learn through extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

Electricity and water infrastructure can be worked upon.
The class size also needs to be reduced a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very broad and comprehensive covering all relevant topics preparing you for future academic or professinal pursuits. The course also has some practical aspects training you for real world aspects. The exams are held at the end of every semester and difficulty level is average.

Placement Experience

There are very less exmployement opportunities by the college after a course like BSc Mathematics. I opted for further studies after the course and did my masters in Business analytics. I plan to work as an analyst in near future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for this course for 2018-2021 batch is approximate Rs. 12000 per semester. which is pretty affordable. There are multiple placement opportunities but as a BSc student you will have to find your way through it.

Campus Life

Campus life of the college was exceptionally good. Apart from the academic endevours, there are multiple societies you can choose from namely - Enactus, Dance,Mathepolis etc etc. I was the product design head for enactus and it certainly taught me a alot about entrepreneureship and social voluntary work.

Admission

The admission process was quite smooth except the long ques you find in Delhi University courses. I got in in the 7th cut off list which was 91% (CBSE, NO entrance exams). However, since it was one of the last cut off lists, the classes had already begin and it was a little difficult to settle in but definately worth it.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is exceptionally well and very supportive, providing good mentorship. However I feel the faculty to student ratio is something that be worked upon. Teachers are very much approachable and are available when needed.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

It is a place to develop yourself.

Placement Experience:

I think from 3 year 5th semester students are eligible for the placement. Companies that comes are Deloitte,ibm etc. i have not too much knowledge about that but i think the median package is 4-5 lakh per annum and highest is 10 lakh. My want to become more professional and become capable to buy anything of my interest.

I wanted to apply to Delhi university and you had to appear in CUET. The course eligibility included subjects such as accountancy, English, maths and economics. No cutoffs were released before appearing for the test and even before filling out preference sheet for colleges. Application form was available on the official website of CUET.
