Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because physics attracted me the most when i was in my 12th class . The curriculum not only teaches me physics but also gives a exposure where i am able to apply my knowledge to the real world, there a workshops and events with renowned peoples. Exams happens twice a year with difficulty level medium.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I got internship in TurnTheBus , it is a US based company where i was given the role of a tutor and i was given the stipend of 2000 rupees for 1 hour of class . There are various opportunities in my college for internship and various roles are provided for the students to opt for . This college provides you good opportunities for internships

Placement Experience

4

Current i am in my 2nd year of my college so didn't sit for the placement but i have seen my seniors this year getting an average package of 8 lakhs per year. There is a particular placement cell in the college and placement process is also conducted by them .

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees is 25370 and there are no other charges but if you opt for hostels you would have to pay for that seperately. There are scholarships upto 100% in college done by interviewing students. I had a internship as a subject matter expert and i was awarded a stipend of 2000 rupees for 1hour of class.

Campus Life

4.5

My experience in my college was awesome it has a great exposure and infrastructure. There is a mix of students from different different states so there is a mix of cultures there and that provides me a platform to know my country.

Admission

Eligibility is you have passed 12th class . You would have to give cuet exam after which you can apply to du csas portal for admission. Cutoff i don't exactly know but my number were 416/600 and i got selected.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio would be enough in my college as I don't know the exact figure about how many students and teachers are there but enough for the students to get the best exposure in the country. Mentorship is good and students do contact their mentors when in problem. We do regularly approach our teachers for doubts within class or in staff room.

Other Applied Colleges

Jamia Millia Islamia University-[JMI] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Physics)

I thought du would be better,as I always wanted a exposure where i can prepare for my dream i.e. civil services and i thought du would be better for me .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

In today's generation Computer Science is one of the demanding course in market so that influenced me to persue this course. computer science is all related to coding and all so it enhance your thinking level the more you think the more codes you can create and can improve your coding skills. coding is not very tough thing to do. it's easy and interesting thing if you have interest in it.

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
